A great part of any vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort is indulging in some delicious specialty cocktails that include everything from classics to unique twists with innovative flavors and ingredients. There are countless margaritas to be enjoyed throughout the property, but some are simply so great that tequila lovers have to try them! Here are the restaurants and lounges to check out to find the best margaritas at Walt Disney World!

La Cava del Tequila

It’s no surprise that the number one spot to find an amazing margarita in Walt Disney World is La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. The small lounge is dedicated entirely to tequila and Guests can choose from a lengthy menu of over two hundred different types. The La Cava Avocado Margarita is a popular option that features Tromba blanco tequila, melon liqueur, fresh avocado and lime juice and is served frozen with a hibiscus salt rim. Guests looking for a fruitier margarita can try the Blood Orange which combines Ambhar blanco tequila, orange liqueur, blood orange, rum, and vanilla, with a tajin chili-lime powder rim. Another delicious option at La Cava del Tequila is the El Diablo which is a spicy combination of Tromba blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, agave, cucumber-jalepeno juice, and a hibiscus salt rim.

Choza de Margarita

Also found in Epcot’s World Showcase in the Mexico Pavilion is Choza de Margarita, a quick service counter that features several small bites and plenty of delicious margarita options to choose from. The Black Magic Margarita features Ojo de Tigre Mezcal, blackberry puree, LeJay black currant liqueur, lime, and mint and is a beautiful dark color that looks gorgeous in photos. Guests who are looking to enjoy a frozen margarita option can try the Fiesta, a colorful combination of the Wild Strawberry, Mango Loco, and Classic Lime Margaritas.

San Angel Inn Restaurante

Found inside the pyramid in the Mexico Pavilion not far from La Cava del Tequila is the charming San Angel Inn Restaurante where Guests can dine along the water and watch boats pass in front of a pyramid and smoking volcano. Several of the margaritas from La Cava del Tequila are also featured on the menu here as well as the San Angel Inn Margarita which combines Casa Fragones blanco tequila, La Favorite orange liqueur, agave nectar, freshly squeezed lime juice, with a black ant salt rim.

Frontera Cocina

Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs serves up authentic Mexican cuisine created by Chef Rick Bayless in a vibrant and welcoming dining area with stunning views of the water outside. There are several amazing margarita options to try at Frontera Cocina including The Smoky Pineapple which features ginger pineapple juice, Ilegal espadin mezcal, anchor eyes chile liqueur, and a black salt rim for the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The Blackberrita is also unique with a combination of Tromba blanco tequila, Mezcal illegal joven, LeJay crème de cassis, blackberry puree, and mint and is served frozen for a cold and refreshing sip. Dockside Margaritas

Also found in Disney Springs in the Marketplace area is Dockside Margaritas, a counter service location designed to look like a 1960s fruit-stand in Florida that serves up some great margaritas among other beverages. Guests can indulge in the frozen Strawberry Margaritas which features Herradura Resposado Tequila and lime juice blended with a strawberry puree or the spicy Habanero Lime Margarita which combines Patron Silver Tequila, habanero lime, lime juice, and Florida sugar cane simple syrup. Dockside Margaritas also features a seasonal margarita that changes throughout the year and is always a great choice to enjoy while exploring Disney Springs.

Barefoot Pool Bar

Margaritas are always better when sipped poolside and this s absolutely true at the Barefoot Pool Bar at the Lava Pool at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The counter service bar overlooks both the beautiful pool and Seven Seas Lagoon with the Magic Kingdom in the distance and Guests will love sipping on the Niue Rita. The drink has Cuervo Gold Tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice combined with the famous POG juice served at the resort comprised of orange, guava and passion fruit juices.

The Polite Pig

A great spot to visit for indulgent barbecue in Disney Springs is the quick service location The Polite Pig. Located in the Town Square area, Guests can order up some Florida-inspired barbecue options and sip on the Grapefruit Margarita which combines tequila, citrus, and grapefruit liqueur for a light and refreshing accompaniment to heavy barbecue foods.

Oga’s Cantina

A truly out of this world margarita can be found at Oga’s Cantina located at the Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars – Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The cantina features all sorts of Guests and beings from across the galaxies and an inventive menu that draws inspiration from favorite moments from the film series. The Outer Rim combines Patron Silver Tequila, Cedilla Acai Liqueur, lime juice, pure cane sugar, and an exotic fruit puree with a black salt rim for a fruity and stellar margarita that Guests will enjoy while listening to DJ Rex.

BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas

The Boardwalk area that wraps around Crescent Lake brings Guests on a beautiful stroll past Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and Guests can stop at a quick service counter to order up margaritas to enjoy on their walk. BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas is found right on the shores of Crescent Lake and serves up several small snacks and beverages including several margaritas. The Patron Disney Select Anejo Margarita features a classic combination of Patron Disney Select Barrel Anejo, Cointreau,and sweet-and-sour mix whereas the Marvelous Watermelon Margaritas takes a more inventive spin with Patron Silver Tequila, watermelon and lime juices, and sweet-and-sour mix.

Dawa Bar

A unique margarita that pairs perfectly with a vibrant atmosphere can be found at Dawa Bar in the Harambe section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Dawa Bar is an open air counter that Guests can sit at while checking out entertainment and busy pathways in the heart of Harambe. The African Margarita is the perfect sip to enjoy while at the location and it features Corazon blanco tequila, Van der Hum Tangerine Liqueur from South Africa, sweet-and-sour mix, and lime juice for a fruity and tart flavor profile.

The Boathouse Restaurant is a very popular eatery in Disney Springs that combines classic seafood and steak options served up in a nautical setting with stunning views of Lake Buena Vista. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to the very popular Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto which welcomes Guests into a small lounge area that is themed to feel like a tropical hideaway complete with unique drinks and antics by the Cast Members. Rosita’s Margarita pays tribute to Rosita from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room (whatever did happen to Rosita?) and features Casamigos Resposado Tequila, Bols Orange Curacao, lime juice, Falernum, and organic agave nectar for a fruity and tart beverage to enjoy.
