Of the four Disney Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to some of the most delicious and unique dining options that Guests can enjoy. Each area of the park celebrates a different area of the world or time, and restaurants offer up cuisine with international and familiar flavors. Chocolate lovers will especially enjoy eating their way through Disney’s Animal Kingdom as there are countless offerings to indulge in that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Here are all of the dining locations to chocolate lovers to enjoy in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Rainforest Café at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Located at the very front of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, technically on the outside of the Disney Park, is the Rainforest Café at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This wild eatery welcomes Guests to dine amongst a quirky setting filled with animatronic animals, tropical displays, and immersive theming to make them feel as though they are truly in the rainforest. After their meals, chocolate lovers can indulge in the Sparkling Volcano which features a large fresh brownie cake paired with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel, and chocolate sauce.

Pizzafari

Pizzafari is a quick service eatery in Discovery Island where Guests can dine on classic pizza offerings throughout five brightly themed rooms with murals and carvings of different animals. After enjoying their pizza, chocolate lovers can order one of the most unique desserts in all of Walt Disney World that might catch them by surprise. The Spaghetti and Meatball Cupcake may look like a classic Italian meal, but is actually comprised of vanilla cake with a chocolate chip cannoli filling, vanilla buttercream “spaghetti,” a chocolate doughnut “meatball,” and vanilla “pasta sauce.”

Tiffins Restaurant

A relatively new eatery in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the full service Tiffins Restaurant which is open daily for lunch and dinner. The restaurant celebrates the spirit and adventure of travel through a décor filled with artwork and artifacts from throughout the world paired with international cuisine. Chocolate lovers have several unique desserts to choose from at Tiffins Restaurant starting with the 50th Celebration Chocolate Gateaux which features an almond praline, white chocolate cremeux, ganache, and chocolate-amarula sauce. Other options include the Passion Fruit Tapioca Crème which includes a chocolate crumble with citrus fruits and coconut crème and The Lion King dessert with a fresh chocolate brownie topped with caramel mousse and strawberry-mango sauce.

Satu’li Canteen

Pandora – The World of Avatar is home to the very popular quick service eatery Satu’li Canteen. The location was formerly a mess hall for the RDA but has since been taken over by Alpha Centauri Expeditions and is filled with beautiful artwork and cultural items from the Na’vi. The menu features creative and healthy options that allow Guests to customize certain aspects, and those chocolate lovers who save room for dessert can dig into the Chocolate Cake. This decadent dessert features a rich chocolate cake with a cookie layer for crunch and a smooth banana cream topping.

Tamu Tamu Refreshments

The Africa area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to Harambe, a bustling town that features many different eateries including Tamu Tamu Refreshments. This quick service ordering counter is open throughout each day in the Disney Park and serves up a variety of sweet and savory snacks for Guests to choose from. Chocolate lovers should absolutely indulge in the Warm Brownie Sundae which features the classic combination of warm brownie, vanilla ice cream, and toppings making it a great option to enjoy while strolling through Harambe.

Also found in Harambe is the full service Tusker House Restaurant which welcomes Guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a beautiful dining area. Themed to feel like a local marketplace, Tusker House Restaurant serves up African-inspired cuisine and certain American classics in family-style meals that Guests can enjoy while meeting Donald and friends decked out in their safari outfits. After tucking into a big meal, chocolate lovers should save some room for the Chocolate Mousse which is rich and creamy and the perfect end to any meal.

Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery

A great grab-and-go location that Guests can visit at any time throughout the day in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in the heart of Harambe. The quick service ordering counter serves up breakfast pastries and sandwiches, hearty lunch and dinner offerings, soft drinks and beer, as well as a classic Chocolate Chip Cookie which any chocolate lover will appreciate.

Harambe Fruit Market

Yet another convenient location for Guests to visit for a sweet treat in Disney’s Animal Kingdom can be found right in the middle of Harambe just across from the entrance to Kilimanjaro Safaris. The Harambe Fruit Market lives up to its name and offers up fresh fruit and healthy options as well as indulgent treats including a delight for chocolate lovers. The Churros sold at the Harambe Fruit Market are served warm and crunchy, smothered in sweet sugar, and accompanied by a rich chocolate sauce for dipping.

Zuri’s Sweets Shop

The final stop for chocolate lovers in the Harambe area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Zuri’s Sweets Shop which serves up a plethora of chocolate options all day long. Moving over to the Asia area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the delicious Yak & Yeti Restaurant which welcomes Guests to two floors of beautifully themed rooms filled with artwork and artifacts from throughout Asia. The pan-Asian menu at the restaurant for lunch and dinner is extensive with classic options from the grill and wok, but chocolate lovers will be sure to save room for the Chocolate Pudding Cake which is moist, rich in flavor, and perfectly paired with a tart raspberry sauce.

Guests who are not looking for a full service meal, but are interested in eating while in Anandapur can check out the quick service Yak & Yeti Local Foods Café which can be found across from the other eatery. Anandapur Ice Cream Truck

A brightly painted truck parked on the side of a bust pathway in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to some delicious ice cream-inspired treats that Guests love to enjoy to cool off on a hot day in the Disney Park. While visiting Dinoland in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, chocolate lovers have several great spots to visit that serve up some unique and tasty treats. Dino Diner is a counter service location housed in an old air stream trailer where cold beverages and savory snacks are served up throughout each day. Chocolate lovers can dig into fresh, crispy churros served warm with a rich chocolate dipping sauce.

Dino-Bite Snacks

Dino-Bite Snacks in Dinoland also serves up some delicious cold beverages and snacks from a retro-style ordering counter next to Restaurantosaurus. Chocolate loving Guests can indulge in a classic Old-Fashioned Hot Fudge Sundae with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, walnuts, and a cherry or a chocolate Haagan-Dazs Hand-Scooped Ice Cream in a fresh waffle cone. Guests who are looking for a chocolate fix can enjoy a chocolate Soft-Serve Ice Cream in a Waffle Cone and enjoy it while exploring all that Dinoland has to offer.

Isle of Java

A unique snack that reflects one of the adventurous animals in Disney’s Animal Kingom can be found at the Isle of Java, a counter service spot that serves up small snacks and caffeinated beverages. The Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist is a flaky pastry with chocolate baked throughout that is then coated in orange chocolate with milk chocolate stripes to look just like the tail of an Asian tiger. Chocolate lovers can also sip on the Island Cappuccino which combines Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum with white chocolate for a truly indulgent beverage!
