If you need your morning coffee before a day of adventures in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Isle of Java should be your first stop of the day.

Isle of Java is located in Discovery Island, right between Discovery Island and the entrance to DinoLand U.S.A. Guests will find it nearby the Tree of Life, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Discovery Trading Company.

Quick Service or Table Service?

This restaurant is a Quick Service dining location. That means Guests don’t need a dining reservation and can simply walk up to Isle of Java to purchase breakfast or snacks. This location is open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., serving breakfast until 10:30 a.m.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere of Discovery Island makes Isle of Java a refreshing place to grab breakfast in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Guests can grab a coffee and walk through the Discovery Island Trails or view the sunrise over the Tree of Life. If you have younger kids, this is the perfect spot to grab a quick breakfast before heading to The Boneyard, a “fossil fun site” located nearby in DinoLand U.S.A., for younger Guests to explore.

Isle of Java’s breakfast and snack menus include options like the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit, the Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist pastry, Mickey Pretzels, and churros. The restaurant offers assorted Joffrey’s Coffee beverages and specialty drinks like cold brew, cappuccino, lattes, and espresso.

In addition to coffee, Isle of Java serves assorted fountain beverages, tea, milk, juice, frozen Coca-Cola beverages, and the Macaw Specialty Beverage, a mix of cherry and blue raspberry Fanta with lemonade. Alcoholic drinks include the Island Cappuccino with Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum and white chocolate and a frozen Coca-Cola with Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum. Dining Tips

While grabbing your morning breakfast and coffee, keep your eyes on the sky for Winged Encounters — The Kingdom Takes Flight. This show featuring the free-flying flock of Animal Kingdom macaws is beautiful and fun to watch while enjoying your breakfast.
