Churros — A classic Disney snack.
In case you aren’t familiar, churros are fried pastry dough covered in delicious cinnamon sugar and are traditional in Spain and Portugal, where the snack was originated.
But the Disney Parks are known for offering their iconic churros as well. From the classic cinnamon sugar churro to the churro ice cream sandwich to even specialty festive churros such as the Worth Melting For churro, Disney is filled with different options, fit for every palette.
So where can Guests find the best churros on Walt Disney World property? Well, we have the answer!

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Guests can dine at Tiffin’s Restaurant, located before you walk into Pandora — The World of Avatar. Nestled right next door is one of my favorite places to relax, eat, and drink — Nomad Lounge.
At Nomad Lounge, you can snack on small bites including Imposssible™ sliders, Tiffins bread service, or one of the famous Nomad bowls.
You can also sip on specialty cocktails such as the Hightower Rocks, Jenn’s Tattoo, Snow Leopard Salvation, and others. However, there is one particular item on the menu that is an absolute must every single time — The churros!
Listed on the small plates section of the menu, the churros, which are served with a vanilla crema and a chili-strawberry dipping sauce, are like no other churro I’ve ever had.
Warm fried pastry dough, soft on the inside with the perfect crunch on the outside, smothered in cinnamon-sugar — They are absolutely delicious. And, if you want to spice things up a bit, try both of the dipping sauces — Each boast with flavor and are like nothing I’ve ever tasted.

So what makes these churros different from the ones around the Disney Parks? Well, personally, I think it is simply because these are made fresh to order, rather than having a batch pre-made and then sitting in a warmer at a snack stand.
The next time you are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, be sure to swing by Nomad Lounge on your way to Pandora — The World of Avatar and try these churros.
