Guests have been known to act selfishly, and we can understand the thought process behind it. After all, a visit to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, or EPCOT can be so expensive and tiring. It’s easy to forget that the other visitors have spent just as much money, time, and energy to make the Walt Disney World vacation happen.
It’s not uncommon to see Guests using flash photography during a dark ride or to hear someone talking through a pre-show. While this is all inconsiderate, the dreaded Disney line-cutting is the worst behavior.

From “it’s a small world” to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, it’s not uncommon for one Guest to wait in line and for the rest of their party to catch up to them, skipping the crowd who have spent their time waiting in line.
It’s easily one of the most infuriating things that can happen at Disney..which is why we’re delighted to report on this sign we saw outside of Animal Kingdom’s Avatar Flight of Passage attraction:

This sign clearly discourages Guests from catching up with the place-holder member of their party. However, it’s no secret that this is incredibly difficult to enforce once in line.
That being said, while waiting in line for Animal Kingdom’s DINOSAUR attraction, I witnessed a Cast Member in action, stopping a few Guests from the dreaded Disney line-cutting procedure.

So, this leads us to wonder: is Walt Disney World finally doing something about line-cutting? It seems that way so far…Hopefully, this behavior continues to be discouraged, eventually stopping it once and for all.
