The Best Lounges in Disney Parks

Let’s face it- a long day in a Disney Park can be just as exhausting as it is enjoyable and Guests sometimes just need a break. Thankfully, each Disney Park is home to some amazing lounges where Guests can kick back, relax, and enjoy some delicious specialty beverages and bites. From themed experiences where Guests are part of the action to laid back locales where Guests don’t need to do anything but settle in, there are some great lounge options to explore throughout the Disney Parks.

La Cava del Tequila

Epcot’s World Showcase is home to the Guest favorite La Cava del Tequila inside of the pyramid in the Mexico Pavilion. This tequila bar is an intimate setting with warm wooden beams and tables, exposed brick archways, a brightly colored tile floor, and comfortable booth seating to sink into. Adding to the coziness of La Cava del Tequila is the fact that there are only a handful of tables for Guests to sit at, meaning there is often a wait- but it is definitely worth it! The menu feature over two hundred tequilas and the Cast Members who work there are very knowledgeable and can help Guests navigate the extensive list. Guests can nibble on chips, salsa, guacamole, and other small snacks like Sweet Corn on the Cob while enjoying their beverages. La Cava del Tequila’s most popular drink choices are their margaritas including the signature La Cava Avocado which features Tromba blanco tequila, melon liqueur, avocado, and lime juice served frozen with a hibiscus salt rim. Other popular margarita options include the Pina Loca, El Diablo, El Negroni, Blood Orange, and The Wild One. Guests who are looking to enjoy La Cava del Tequila but can’t get a table can also opt to wait on a typically shorter line that allows them to order a drink to go from the bar.

Tune-In Lounge

A blast from the past can be enjoyed at the Tune-In Lounge which is attached to the 50’s Prime Time Café in the Echo Lake area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The restaurant and lounge are themed to feel like a home in the 1950s, complete with retro décor and appliances. Guests who score a seat at the Tune-In Lounge can enjoy the atmosphere while watching television shows from the 1950s playing above. The menu features specialty cocktails and a full bar as well as the option to order some favorite American classics from the restaurant’s menu such as fried chicken and meatloaf. Guests are sure to love the quirky and delicious cocktails served up such as Dad’s Electric Lemonade which combines vodka, blue curacao, sweet-and-sour, and Sprite and glows in fun colors thanks to a souvenir glow cube. The Mowie Wowie also lights up the bar with a glow cube combined with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, melon liqueur, peach schnapps, and orange and pineapple juices. The Tune-In Lounge is a great spot to enjoy while in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that completely transports Guests not only away from the bustle of the crowds, but back in time!

Oga’s Cantina

One of the most immersive lounge experiences in a Disney Park can be found at the Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars – Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Oga’s Cantina is run by the character from the films and is a popular spot with Guests and creatures from all corners of the galaxies. With upbeat music pumping from DJ Rex, Guests can continue their journey to becoming part of the First Order or Resistance while enjoying some unique beverages and bites. The Batuu Bits are crispy bites served with a spiced chermoula dip and the Happabore Sampler features an array of cured and roasted meats and pork cracklings and both are delicious options. In addition to beer, wine, and cider on tap, Guests can order up specialty cocktails such as the Jedi Mind Trick, Bespin Fizz, Jet Juice, T-16 Skyhopper, and Deagobah Slug Slinger. One of the most popular cocktails at Oga’s Cantina is the Fuzzy Tauntaun which combines Ciroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, Simply Orange with Tangerine, cane sugar, and a Buzz Button Tingling foam that makes Guests’ lips feel numb and tingly with each sip! Guests who are looking for non-alcoholic options also have plenty of choices such as the Carbon Freeze, Blue Bantha, Hyperdrive (Punch It!), Black Spire Brew, and Jabba Juice.

Nomad Lounge

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the largest of the four Disney Parks and Guests who spend an entire day there could definitely use a relaxing break at the wonderful Nomad Lounge. Situated on the bridge linking Discovery Island to Pandora – the World of Avatar, Nomad Lounge is attached to Tiffins Restaurant and features both indoor and outdoor seating. The lounge celebrates the spirit of travel and adventure and the interior features photos and artifacts from around the world while the exterior features a wrap-around deck with comfortable seating and views of the river below. The menu at Nomad Lounge celebrates flavors from all over the world ad Guests can enjoy small bites such as Sweet Corn Soup, Impossible Sliders, Churros, Chicken Manchurian Nomad Bowl, and the Tiffins Bread Service which comes with red pepper hummus, spicy coriander yogurt, and ginger-pear chutney. In addition to wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, the specialty cocktails at Nomad Lounge are flavorful and delicious and some popular choices include the Hightower Rocks, Night Monkey, Spice Trader Classic, Annapurna Zing, and Lamu Libation.

BaseLine Tap House

The laid back atmosphere of a California pub is brought to life at BaseLine Tap House in the Grand Avenue area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The location features an indoor bar with charming exposed brick, industrial lighting and seating, and several tables for Guests to enjoy, but it is the outdoor patio that is the best spot to settle into. Featuring a large open air patio, the outdoor seating welcomes Guests to relax at picnic tables with overhead string lights, gently blowing fans, umbrellas, and wonderful views of Guests walking past to other areas of the Disney Park. The menu at BaseLine Tap House features beverages on tap straight from California including Line 39 Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Francis Chardonnay, Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider, North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner, Stone Delicious IPA, Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA, and Golden Road State Cerveza. In addition to the beverages, Guests can choose from a short list of small plates that are all delicious. The Bavarian Pretzel is massive and served warm with beer-cheese fondue and spicy mustard, the Spiced Almonds are both sweet and spicy, and the Coffee-Rubbed Rib-Eye Beef Puff is served in a flaky pastry shell, drizzled with cheese, and accompanied by an olive salad. The star menu choice at BaseLine Tap House by far is the California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate which features three cheeses, two meats, cornichons, grapes, and toasted baguettes making it perfect to share over a round of drinks.

The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

Also found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is another lounge that features the perfect people-watching spot. The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is attached to The Hollywood Brown Derby and invites Guests to enjoy an outdoor patio with small tables and comfortable high chairs that face Hollywood Boulevard. The best part about The Hollywood Brow Derby Lounge is that Guests can order several menu items from the restaurant without needing to commit to a full service meal and choices include BLT Sliders, Shrimp Cocktail, Charcuterie Board, Tuna Carpaccio Nicoise, and Our Famous Cobb Salad. The specialty beverages at The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge all mirror the old Hollywood vibe from the restaurant and Guests will love indulging in options such as the Old Fashioned, Gin Mule, Bloody Mary, Grapefruit Cake Martini, Hollywood Manhattan, and Absinthe Minded. Guests can also choose from wines, beers, spirits, and specialty flights of margaritas and martinis. Those looking to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage at The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge can try the Pink Palace which combines Sprite and watermelon, Sunset Boulevard with Spite and tangerine, Kiwi Glitzer with Sprite and kiwi, and Maliblue Beach which features Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade and blue raspberry with a souvenir glow cube.

Rose & Crown Pub

The UK Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is home to a charming pub that completely transports Guests to the heart of England. The Rose & Crown Pub is a traditional British corner pub with dark wooden interior, frosted glass paneling, comfortable seating, and beamed ceilings. The atmosphere inside is always lively, the Cast Members are cheerful and knowledgeable, and there is sometimes live music coming from the corner, all adding to a great spot to grab a drink at. Since the Rose & Crown Pub is attached to the Rose & Crown Restaurant, Guests can order the Fish and Chips with tartar sauce or the Sausage Roll and Chips to enjoy while sipping on their drinks. Guests can sip on wines, sangrias, and beers on tap in addition to specialty pub blends that blend various beers in specialty pints. Cocktails are also on the menu at the Rose & Crown Pub and Guests can sip on the Welsh Dragon which features peach schnapps, melon liqueur, crème de menthe, orange and pineapple juices, Pimm’s Cup which blends Pimm’s No. 1 with Sprite, and the Leaping Leprechaun which combines Jameson Irish Whiskey, Don Q Cristal Rum, Skyy Vodka, melon liqueur, sweet-and-sour, and Sprite. The Rose & Crown Pub is a must so while in Epcot’s World Showcase thanks to its tasty beverages and charming atmosphere!

Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar

Another lounge location in Epcot’s World Showcase takes on a much more laid back atmosphere where Guests can truly unwind after spending a long day in the Disney Park. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar is located in the Italy Pavilion and features dark wooden panels, low vaulted ceilings, and rich lighting to create a cozy and intimate environment. The menu features over two hundred different bottles of wine as well as wine flights and the Cast Members are very knowledgeable and can help Guests choose the best option for them. While sipping on fantastic Italian wine, Guests can also indulge in a rather extensive menu that includes antipasti options such as Caesar Salad, “Fior di Latte” Caprese, Carpaccio di Manzo, and Calamari Fritti. Those looking to enjoy a fuller meal can order pasta options including Penne Vodka, Spaghetti, Lasagna Bolognese, and Gnocchi Sorrentina as well as entrees such as Salmone, BIstecca, and Parmigiana, The entire relaxing experience at Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar can also be capped off with a decadent dessert such as Mocha Tiramisu, Cannoli, Gelati, Tartufo al Caffe, and more. This is absolutely the best spot to unwind and relax in Epcot’s World Showcase and Guests will likely even forget that they are in a Disney Park!
