There are many iconic things about Disney Parks, and Cast Members are a huge part of what makes the theme parks so memorable and magical. There’s about to be an exclusive uniform change for Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida only!

Park Guests and Disney fans from all over the world recognize the white oval-shaped badge. Generally, the tag with read the Cast Member’s first name in blue, in all capital letters, with their hometown and state printed smaller underneath. In Florida, the top of the nametag says Walt Disney World Resort underneath the image of Cinderella Castle. There’s usually light pixie dust imagery on the border. The bottom has the slogan “Where Dreams Come True.”
It’s a pretty clean and classic design, so what could the upgrade look like? For Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, Cast Members wore nametags re-themed to match the 18-month-long occasion. The white oval shape this time had a gold border and a gold castle with the number 50 inside of it. At the bottom, this design says “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
Now that the celebration is over, Cast Members were expected to return to the original, everyday design. However, Walt Disney World Cast and Community posted a video on Facebook announcing that new WDW Cast name tags will be “arriving directly to Cast Member mailboxes this May!”
The post is captioned:
For cast members, Disney is a calling to be part of something extraordinary, something magical, and something incredibly unique. Our Disney nametags are a symbol that connects us to our Guests and each other, and this spring, Walt Disney World cast will receive a new nametag with a never-before-seen design just for them.
Cast Members: We’re not quite ready to reveal the design yet, but prepare for some magical mail and drop a ✨ if you are excited about this new arrival! #DisneyCastLife
