Josh Gad, the ever-so-popular voice actor of Olaf from the Frozen franchise, recently took to social media to share a video of getting drenched while riding Magic Kingdom’s iconic Splash Mountain attraction.
It seems like not only are Disney fans hurrying to Walt Disney World Resort one last time to experience Splash Mountain, but famous celebrities are doing the same!
Walt Disney World Resort has revealed the nostalgic attraction, Splash Mountain in Frontierland, will close forever on January 23, 2023. With only a few more weeks remaining, Disney fans are hurrying to the Park for that one-last ride on the memorable “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Day” experience.
Br’er Bear, Br’er Fox, and Br’er Rabbitt are being removed as the Song of the South (1946) Splash Mountain film’s content has been deemed to have a racist context.

Instead of keeping the “Laughing Place,” the boat ride is being rethemed to “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” to feature characters from the Disney animated film, The Princess and the Frog (2009).
Before Josh Gad got to work narrating EPCOT’s popular Candlelight Processional on December 10, December 11, and December 12, 2022, the famous actor made sure to stop by Splash Mountain for a ride.
@JoshGad took to social media to share a clip of the drop at Walt Disney World’s Splash Mountain, noting, “What goes up must get wet. #splashmountain @WaltDisneyWorld #soaked.” Check out the video below:

Of course, a few of the comments point out that Josh Gad is riding the problematic attraction, with “How could he ride this discriminatory ride?”
Most comments are happy Josh Gad got to ride the attraction one last time before its closure in late January, with “Aww! You’re so lucky! I wanted to go one more time, before they close it down, but I can’t. I’ve probably seen Disney for the last time. Hope y’all have a great time!”
