Walt Disney World is so magical (and so expensive) that takes a lot to truly experience a ruined day while visiting. Don’t get us wrong, there’s plenty of bad Disney days to go around. But a truly ruined Disney day is something else entirely.

…That being said, it can definitely happen. After all, that one-of-a-kind Disney magic can only save us from so much!

From Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom to Hollywood Studios to EPCOT, visiting a Disney Park requires a lot of time, money, effort, and energy.

There’s planning the Disney trip, coordinating travel and lodging, shelling out thousands of dollars for the experience, and then spending an entire day out at the theme park while Florida’s unforgiving sun shines down on Guests.

In short, there’s a lot of pressure to make a day spent at a Disney Park the best day ever. So, when things go wrong, we try our best to rectify the situation and save the day…But there are certain situations we just can’t come back from…

Recently, one fan made a post on Reddit, asking fellow fans of Walt Disney World to share “the wildest thing you’ve seen happen” while visiting. One anonymous fan did not disappoint. They write:

I saw a woman once serve her husband divorce papers in Epcot during Flower and Garden in 2021. It was outside of the Italy booth at one of their cocktail tables. There was lots of shouting involved. The woman went into some pretty serious detail about her (I’m assuming now ex) husband’s extramarital affairs and now she’s just done with the relationship. Absolutely wild.

It just goes to show that even when you’re visiting EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios, you can still have a pretty crummy day.

But this situation takes the cake over any cranky kids, rainy days, missing the virtual queue, or other common ‘bad day at Disney’ scenarios.
