The Absolute Best Donuts in Walt Disney World Resort

I love donuts! Seriously, my love for them is almost as big as my love for coffee, and that’s saying something. My favorites are traditional cake donuts, but really, I’ll eat any donut that is handed to me. Sometimes it’s a problem.

Lucky for me, donuts and Disney World go hand in hand these days. In fact, there are so many donut choices in Walt Disney World Resort that I sometimes have a hard time deciding which one to eat next. Luckily, there are always more Disney World visits, meaning there are always more opportunities to eat Disney World donuts.

Enough about me though, let’s talk about you. I’m betting you’re here because you love donuts and Disney World as much as I do. This may leave you wondering where you can get some seriously amazing donuts in Disney World. If so, you’ve come to the right place.

Below is my list of the very best donuts in Disney World. These hole-y snacks are 100% delicious, and every single one of them should make it onto your must-try list. Let’s get started.

Donut King Giant Donuts at Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosks

If you’ve been to the Disney parks, you’ve seen these gigantic donuts. The thing is, while they are enormous, they honestly don’t look like they’d be that good. Looks can be deceiving however, because in this case, they totally are delicious! We absolutely adore these scrumptious donuts, and we highly recommend picking one up from a Joffrey’s kiosk so you can experience eating one for yourself.

Note: These exact same donuts can be found at Universal Orlando theme park locations, in case you end up over there.

Cinnamon-Sugar Donut Holes at Multiple Locations

Right now these are available at Westward Ho and Friar’s Nook in Magic Kingdom for sure, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see them pop up elsewhere. These delicious little Disney food treats are fried onsite and then rolled in cinnamon and sugar. They remind us a lot of churros, but we might like the texture even better, and since they are fried onsite, they are super fresh.

The only problem is that the stands do run out from time to time.

Mickey Beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

Because Port Orleans French Quarter Resort has been closed until recently, we have had to do without this beloved treat. Fortunately, the resort reopened in October and Mickey Beignets are back!

These delicious tiny donuts are one of our favorite Walt Disney World dining choices. They are cut to resemble our favorite mouse before being deep fried and then covered in powdered sugar. They can be purchased at Scat Cat’s Club in Port Orleans French Quarter Resort in packs of 3 or 6, and come with your choice of dipping sauce: salted caramel, strawberry, or chicory chocolate.

Go get these donuts. Even if you’re not staying at this resort, pay the hotel a visit. It’s worth it!

Beignet at Les Halles Boulangerie

The beignet at Les Halles Boulangerie looks nothing like what we here in the US call a beignet. Rather than rectangular (or Mickey shaped, as the case may be), this deep-fried treat is round and filled with chocolate hazelnut spread.

Is it as good as the beignet treats found in New Orleans? Yes! It’s different, but yes, this donut is absolutely wonderful and well worth picking up if you find yourself in the France Pavilion.

Allergy-Free Vegan Donuts at Erin McKenna’s Bakery

If you live with food allergies, you may feel a bit limited when it comes to eating in Disney World. Fortunately, there are options if you’re willing to look for them. One of these options is to head to Erin McKenna’s Bakery in Disney Springs.

This wonderful bakery focuses on creating allergy-friendly treats, and has even perfected the allergen-free donut. Flavors like cookies and cream, cinnamon sugar, and coffee crunch are available, and every single one is delicious.

Fun Flavored Donuts at Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew

Looking for a super fun and unique donut experience? Go to Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew in Disney Springs.

Everglazed Donut shop is all about fun donut and coffee flavors. They have a huge variety of options (Fruity Pebbles, Peanut Butter Explosion, or Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavors, anyone?) and they rotate some of their flavors in and out, so there’s always something new to try here. These bakers don’t hold back on toppings, and they do an awesome job of offering cold brew coffee flavors and flavored milks that pair well with their donuts.

All in all, we’d give this donut shop a big thumbs up, and we recommend it to anyone visiting Walt Disney World.

Mini Donuts at Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosks in Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach

We mentioned the giant donuts found at most Joffrey’s kiosks already, but did you know that the Joffrey’s Coffee kiosks in Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon offer mini donuts?

When it comes to size, these teeny tiny donuts are the exact opposite of the enormous Donut King treats found at most Joffrey’s locations. That said, they are equally delicious, and because they are smaller, you can share more easily. In our opinion, this is a must-try treat when in the water parks.

* * *

So there you have it! These are our favorite donut options on Walt Disney World Resort property. That said, they are far from the only donuts available.

Honorable mention goes to the fried chicken and donuts at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs, the brioche Boston cream donut at Boardwalk Bakery, and the injectable donut holes at Rix Sports Bar and Grill in the Coronado Resort, all which blow Dunkin Donuts out of the water. Of course, even more great options can be found at the Donut Box in Epcot for the rest of the 2021 Food and Wine Festival.

No, you won’t be looking long to find a great donut on your next Disney vacation, and we think that is a beautiful thing.
