Located right in the heart of Frontierland, Westward Ho can be found across from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, nearby the iconic (though slightly controversial) Country Bear Jamboree. It’s also very close to Big Al’s, a Frontierland merchandise stand.

Quick Service or Table Service?

Westward Ho is a smaller Quick Service location. Don’t let the size of this restaurant fool you, though. It’s small but mighty, opening for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and staying open for lunch and dinner through 10:00 p.m.

Sharing the rustic atmosphere of Frontierland, Westward Ho is an open-air stand. Guests can walk up and order their refreshments while overlooking the Rivers of America, which run through Frontierland and Liberty Square. There are many small shops to browse while you eat, modeled after the small towns of the Old West.

Dining Tips

If you’re looking for a relaxing break in Magic Kingdom, try taking your snack and walking along the Rivers of America on the wooden boardwalk, offering scenic views of Tom Sawyer Island. We’ve often found a PhotoPass Cast Member along the boardwalk, ready to help you capture a memory. If you need a break from walking, try heading to the outdoor seating offered at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe to enjoy your refreshments.

About Megan Losey

As a Disney foodie, I love writing about Disney food and snacks. Some of my favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Apple Blossom from Port Orleans Riverside. When I'm visiting the parks, you can find me on Main Street taking in the good vibe of Magic Kingdom or relaxing with a drink at the Polynesian watching the fireworks from the beach. As a previous Cast Member, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Magic Kingdom, especially Main Street U.S.A.
