Frontierland’s most iconic Quick Service restaurant is serving up southwest eats. Though many Guests miss the beloved toppings bar that was available until 2020, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe has updated delicious menu items to please every palette.
Location
Guests will find Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Frontierland, nearby to the old location of Splash Mountain, soon to be the home of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It’s also near Golden Oak Outpost, a smaller Quick Service location.
Quick Service or Table Service?
Pecos Bill’s is a Quick Service location, allowing Guests to walk in and order without a reservation. This popular restaurant also offers Mobile Order, a great way to order ahead and skip the line. We highly recommend using Disney’s Mobile Order feature, especially at popular dining locations.
Atmosphere
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor dining area is air-conditioned and stretches across multiple rooms of tables and chairs. The outdoor seating area is partially covered but provides an open-air atmosphere if you want a less crowded area to enjoy your meal. This restaurant is a very popular Quick Service spot and fills with Guests, especially around lunch and dinner times.
Menu Options
The menu at this location has changed in recent years, but it now offers a supply of southwestern-inspired meals. Featured entrees include the Fajita Platter, the Double Bacon Barbecue Cheeseburger, the Chicken Rice Bowl, and the Pork Carnitas Nachos. The restaurant offers great kids’ meals and kids’ Disney Check meals that mirror their entree choices. In addition to assorted sides and beverages, Pecos Bill offers a dessert menu with Mini Churros, Teddi Barra Swingin’ Shortcake, and more.
Additionally, their menu offers a Plant-Based Rice Bowl for Guests searching for a delicious plant-based meal choice. They also have many allergy-friendly menus to accommodate gluten/wheat, egg, fish/shellfish, milk, peanut/tree nut, sesame, and soy allergens. Guests can find the complete menus on the My Disney Experience app.
Dining Tips
Starting January 9, 2024, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe will accept both Disney Dining Plans. For Guests using the Disney Dining Plan, this is an excellent restaurant to keep in mind for a Quick Service meal in Magic Kingdom.
