Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at Walt Disney World

Frontierland’s most iconic Quick Service restaurant is serving up southwest eats. Though many Guests miss the beloved toppings bar that was available until 2020, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe has updated delicious menu items to please every palette.

Guests will find Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Frontierland, nearby to the old location of Splash Mountain, soon to be the home of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It’s also near Golden Oak Outpost, a smaller Quick Service location.

Quick Service or Table Service?

Pecos Bill’s is a Quick Service location, allowing Guests to walk in and order without a reservation. This popular restaurant also offers Mobile Order, a great way to order ahead and skip the line. We highly recommend using Disney’s Mobile Order feature, especially at popular dining locations.

The outdoor seating area is partially covered but provides an open-air atmosphere if you want a less crowded area to enjoy your meal. This restaurant is a very popular Quick Service spot and fills with Guests, especially around lunch and dinner times.

In addition to assorted sides and beverages, Pecos Bill offers a dessert menu with Mini Churros, Teddi Barra Swingin’ Shortcake, and more.

Starting January 9, 2024, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe will accept both Disney Dining Plans. For Guests using the Disney Dining Plan, this is an excellent restaurant to keep in mind for a Quick Service meal in Magic Kingdom.

Megan Losey

As a Disney foodie, I love writing about Disney food and snacks. Some of my favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Apple Blossom from Port Orleans Riverside. When I'm visiting the parks, you can find me on Main Street taking in the good vibe of Magic Kingdom or relaxing with a drink at the Polynesian watching the fireworks from the beach. As a previous Cast Member, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Magic Kingdom, especially Main Street U.S.A.
