Golden Oak Outpost in Frontierland may be one of my favorite underrated spots to eat in Magic Kingdom Park. This Quick Service restaurant offers a quick and easy lunch option for those looking to grab a quick bite and skip the long lines.
Location
Golden Oak Outpost is located outside Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, on the edge of Frontierland and Adventureland. It’s nearby the previous site of Splash Mountain, now the site of the upcoming attraction, Tianas Bayou Adventure. The restaurant is designed to have an Old West feel, with wooden paneling and rustic decor. The kiosk shares the Pecos Bill outdoor seating area with covered pavilions and picnic tables.
Quick Service or Table Service?
Golden Oak Outpost is a Quick Service dining location. This allows Guests to order and receive their meal at the restaurant kiosk, then take it on the go or to nearby seating. This location has reduced hours compared to many Magic Kingdom Quick Service options, serving Guests from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Golden Oak Outpost is a great spot for a quick and budget-friendly lunch option in Magic Kingdom. If you’re looking for a break from the crowds, this restaurant tends to be less busy than others in the Park. However, if you catch it at a busy time, Frontierland offers mobile ordering nearby at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.
