What to Do
Need help deciding what to do while in the Magic Kingdom with someone who adores princesses? There are tons of awesome princess attractions in the theme park, so finding ways to fill your time with princesses is actually easier than you might think.
Try these options on for size.
Ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
One of the best (and most popular) rides in the Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a must-ride for those who adore Disney princesses.
This gentle coaster takes Guests on a fast-paced ride to the mine of the seven dwarfs, which they ride slowly through while admiring the many gems, watching the antics of the dwarfs, and then joining them in song as they head home for the day.
Another quick coaster ride then takes riders to the cottage of the dwarfs, where they can spot Snow White dancing with her friends, as well as a sneaky Evil Queen peeking in the window.
Ride Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
Have an Ariel fan in your travel party? If so, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid should also be on your list. This is a classic-style dark ride that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It takes riders through a series of scenes featuring animatronics that tell the story of The Little Mermaid. It’s certain to have the whole family singing and dancing as they hear familiar songs and immerse themselves in familiar scenes from the movie.
Ride Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
Every princess should have a noble steed. Let your princess ride a horse of her own at the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. This beautiful carousel features lovely artwork that tells the story of Cinderella. The horses are gorgeous, and each one is unique, making it extra fun for little princesses to choose their favorite.
Ride Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Some princesses prefer magic carpets over horses. If your royal lady wants to try transportation of the magical variety, head over to Adventureland and hop on the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and fly like Princess Jasmine. This ride is reminiscent of the Dumbo ride, allowing riders to “fly” through the air on a lovely magic carpet while taking in awesome views of Adventureland.
See “Mickey’s PhilharMagic”
“Mickey’s PhilharMagic” may be named after everyone’s favorite mouse, but he is far from the only character in this 3D masterpiece. The performance also features Ariel, Jasmine, Belle, and several non-princess friends. It’s sure to capture the imaginations of everyone in your group as it plunges them into the cartoon worlds of their favorite Disney friends.
Meet Princesses in Princess Fairytale Hall
No trip to Walt Disney World is complete without a character meet with some of your favorite Disney friends, and the princess fanatic in your group is probably going to want princesses to be on the list of friends to meet. For this reason, we highly recommend heading to Princess Fairytale Hall. Here, you can meet Cinderella and a visiting princess, as well as Princess Tiana and a visiting princess.
Shop Sir Mickey’s
While you’re in the area, be sure to stop in at Sir Mickey’s. Despite the name, this little Fantasyland shop is totally dedicated to all things’ princess. It’s the perfect place to pick up princess dresses, attire, and toys, and we’re betting your princess won’t leave without at least one new item.
Watch a Cavalcade
Currently, the afternoon parade at Magic Kingdom is unavailable. However, there are many mini-parades throughout the day. These character cavalcade events feature all kinds of Disney characters, and right now, one of those characters is Moana. Considering how hard it is to find Moana in the parks, this is a major win for those who love this particular princess.
Stay for “Disney Enchantment”
Doing all of these things we’ve listed thus far will definitely make for a busy day. That said, we recommend pushing yourself and your princess-loving travel mate to stick around for the nighttime spectacular. “Disney Enchantment” features several references to the princesses and their movies, and is a fantastic way to end any night at the most magical place on earth.
Where to Eat
Of course, you will need to eat something during your time in Magic Kingdom park. Why not stick with the theme of the day and look for Disney princess-themed foods to fill your bellies?
These princess snack and meal options are sure to make the day feel a little more magical for your lover of all things princess-y.
Storybook Treats
Looking for a way to cool off in Disney princess style? Storybook Treats has a lot of super sweet Snow White-themed options that couldn’t be any cuter or tastier. These include the Heigh-Ho Sundae, the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cone, and the Snow White Cone. All of them feature delicious soft-serve and adorable decorations that you’re sure to eat right up.

Prince Eric’s Village Market
Another fantastic princess-themed frozen treat is the Mermaid Slushy served up at Prince Eric’s Village Market. This yummy slushy is blue raspberry and green apple flavored, and combines the colors blue and green to create an awesome mermaid tail effect. It’s topped with whipped cream and mermaid tail chocolate to create a picture perfect treat.

Gaston’s Tavern
Gaston’s Tavern doesn’t have any princess-themed snacks. That said, fans of Beauty and the Beast should really have at least one snack in this well-themed eatery. Many recommend the giant turkey leg, but we’re all about the cinnamon rolls and Le Fou’s Brew.
Be Our Guest
An even better option for Beauty and the Beast fans is the Be Our Guest restaurant. This incredible eatery allows guests to step in the world of Beauty and Beast and dine in the Beast’s castle. Watch snow fall in the windows, visit the dark West Wing and see the enchanted rose, and be sure to look out for the Beast himself!

Cinderella’s Royal Table
Finally, we must mention Cinderella’s Royal Table. This amazing restaurant allows you to eat in Cinderella’s castle. The dining room looks exactly like what you might imagine a storybook castle would look like, and it offers incredible views of the park below. Some are even able to watch the fireworks from inside the castle! Of course, the visit from Cinderella herself is also a major bonus for princess fans.
