The characters in Snow White are memorable and endearing, from the sweet and kind-hearted Snow White to the grumpy but lovable dwarfs. The Live action Snow White starring Rachel Zegler has received backlash due to the comments Zegler made during an interview. Zegler is looking to significantly change from the original 1937 version. Zelger commented about removing the prince from the live-action Snow White due to not needing to be saved by a prince.

“I just mean that it’s no longer 1937,” Zegler said. “We absolutely wrote a ‘Snow White’ that … she’s not going to be saved by the prince, and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love; she’s going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true.”

Rachel Zegler’s breakthrough moment came when she was cast in the lead role of Maria in Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated 2021 adaptation of the classic musical West Side Story. Zegler is exceptional at singing and acting abilities, as well as her striking presence, made her the perfect choice to bring Maria to life.

  1. The answer is NO! Disney is a shithole of a cess pool and it’s problems go well beyond a Zegler. I haven’t watched a Disney movie in over 10 years, and will not, unless they become what Walt always was.
Other than that, if Zegler wants me to watch her perform, she can get on her knees and give me a Spielberg.

  2. How bout you give a story that comes from something other the European culture? Then you wouldn’t have to retcon it or remake it to fit today is modern culture. How about you give me a story from Africa. How about a story from Asia.
