One of these legendary talents is Sir Elton John. The longtime musician has had a very lengthy and successful career that has spanned decades. Among his many accomplishments is his work on the music for Disney’s The Lion King (1994), and cameos in various Disney shows and movies. As part of the creative genius behind The Lion King soundtrack, he helped create timeless classics such as “Circle of Life,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “Be Prepared,” “Hakuna Matata,” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” The iconic “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” also went on to win an Academy Award for Best Song and a Grammy Award.

He also teamed up with Tim Rice again to write “Never Too Late,” a new song added to The Lion King (2019) live-action remake. Other contributions Sir Elton John has made to Disney include appearing for the Muppets, making a cameo appearance in The Country Bears (2002), and having his song “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” featured in the trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).

Hospital Stay
Recent news reports that the Disney legend was taken to the hospital after a fall from his villa in Nice, France. The 76-year-old singer was treated for minor injuries and is reportedly back home in good health. He had been spending his summer in France with his husband, David Furnish, and their two sons.

The time in France at the family’s “summer home” followed Elton John’s final tour, which ended in July of this year. After his fall, his overnight hospital stay has been reported as a precautionary measure.

“He is healthy and doing well,” a representative for the singer has told the media.
