Poor Bruno, his family just does not like to talk about him. However, Disney fans do! In fact, he seems to be all they want to talk about. Well, him and the fabulously strong Luisa.

When Disney released its newest film, Encanto, back in November, they hoped that the catchy music, gorgeous animation, and wonderful story would connect with viewers. Little did they know that they would have a massive hit on their hands when it came to one of the songs. “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” was the breakout song of the film. Fans can’t stop listening to it, and it has become more successful than any other song in Disney history.

Not long after Encanto was released on Disney+, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” shot to the top of the music charts. It even reached number one on the Billboard 100. In the past, two other Disney animated feature songs have had that same honor, “Let It Go” from the 2013 film Frozen and “Colors of the Wind” from 1995’s Pocahontas. “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has been so popular that many thought it would win an Oscar, but the song was not nominated.

“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has continued to remain strong and is now in its 3rd week of being at the top of the Billboard 100. Billboard shared the exciting news with its followers:

“We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” from Disney’s hit animated film Encanto, tops the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a third week.

The ensemble song – by Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz and the Encanto Cast (all singing as the characters that they voice in the movie) – ties for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 ever for a hit from a Disney movie, animated or live-action, matching the three-week reign of “All for Love,” by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting, from The Three Musketeers, in 1994.

Encanto has been out for a few months now, and it continues to inspire people around the world. Many children are now seeing themselves represented by the characters in the movie, and their parents could not be happier. Encanto has also inspired Alamar Cosmetics to create a gorgeous makeup line, and there have been some truly incredible cakes inspired by the hit film.

Encanto is currently available to stream on Disney+ for all subscribers. The film came on to the streaming platform less than two months after it was released in theaters and does not require Premier Access to watch.
