Walt Disney World is one of the biggest vacation destinations in the world, both in terms of size and popularity.
The Disney Resort is made up of four different theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT), two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon), a huge shopping center (Disney Springs), and over two dozen resort hotels.
In short, Walt Disney World Resort is sprawling, making up nearly 25,000 acres in total. It’s easily the biggest of the Walt Disney Company’s theme park resorts, which is why it comes as no surprise that it’s more expensive to visit than ever.

It’s also worth noting that the fiscal year, which begins on October 1, is a big part of why these price increases occur when they do. Unfortunately, we think the start of another fiscal year may result in some price increases, especially because there was a lack of price changes this past winter.

Walt Disney World’s most recent significant change in ticket prices occurred last December, which means it has been nearly a full year without additional changes.
As for what the predicted price changes will actually entail, we can’t say at this time. There’s always a good chance that Annual Pass tiers and theme park ticket prices will rise, but we don’t want to say for sure just yet.
