Universal Orlando Attraction Closes Down for Good

Universal Orlando Resort is a world-renowned entertainment destination located in Orlando, Florida. Universal has different parks throughout the world, including Universal Studios Hollywood in California and Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, among others. Universal Orlando has earned its reputation as a must-visit destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a thrilling combination of theme parks, resorts, and entertainment options.

Universal Orlando is home to two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando is also home to a water park called Volcano Bay, where guests can relax in the Florida sun. Guests heading to Universal go through CityWalk, which features different restaurants, shopping locations, and much more for guests to explore.

Universal Studios Florida is known for its immersive movie and television-themed attractions. Guests can step into the world of Hollywood blockbusters and TV shows with rides and experiences based on franchises such as Harry Potter, The Simpsons, Transformers, Minions, and much more. Guests can explore the wizarding world of Harry Potter Diagon Alley, The new Minion Land, which features Bake My Day, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and much more.

Next door at Universal Islands of Adventure, guests can visit different “islands” or land, which include The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade, Jurassic Park, Marvel Super Hero Island, and Seuss Landing. Iconic rides like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, Jurassic Park River Adventure, and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man can be found here.

Jurassic Park is a beloved and iconic franchise that has captivated audiences worldwide through books, movies, theme park attractions, and various forms of merchandise. Created by author Michael Crichton, the franchise explores the concept of bringing dinosaurs back to life through genetic engineering, leading to thrilling adventures, moral dilemmas, and awe-inspiring encounters with prehistoric creatures.

Universal has been celebrating Jurassic Park‘s 30th Anniversary at Universal Studios Florida. Guests could walk inside the Tribute Store, which was decorated as Jurassic Park. Guests could take iconic photos like sitting on the toilet with the T-Rex above them and buy exclusive merchandise to support Jurassic Park‘s 30th Anniversary. When the store first opened, guests could view a large dinosaur outside the building.

Sadly, the time has come, and Universal has closed down Jurassic Park‘s 30th Anniversary location. Skipper Hoss on Twitter tweeted a photo of the Tribute Store being closed.

Jurassic Park has grown over the years with several new movies like The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Jurassic Park III (2001), Jurassic World (2015), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), and Jurassic World: Dominion, all of which are all films that started with Jurassic Park.
