Universal Orlando’s Minions Land was announced not long ago and has moved at an incredibly fast rate. The park waited until the land was almost built to officially announce it, rather than drawing out the anticipation (and potential frustration with delays). Minions Land is set to open this summer, but rather than one grand opening all at once, Universal is slowly rolling out new attractions as they open.
Minions Land will take over the park entrance at Universal Studios and will Include the existing Minion Mayhem ride, an all new ride, new souvenir stores and several new spots to eat. Recently, Evil Stuff, a merchandise location, opened followed by Minions Cafe.
Now Bake My Day, a sweet shop with delicious cupcakes, macarons and chocolates openee its doors on June 17, 2023. Here you’ll find items for any sweet tooth and even merchandise that is most certainly Margo, Edith, and Agnes approved!
The merchandise here is adorable! From cotton candy clad Minnions to actual cotton candy, this store will give you pink overload (and a wicked sugar rush to boot)! Just like over at Evil Stuff, this store has an exclusive Loungefly bag which we are absolutely in love with!
“It’s so fluffyyyyyyy!” The Unicorn Cupcake loungefly couldn’t be any sweeter. You’ll also find branded headbands and cupcake shapped Minion plushies!
The merch is all well and good but the sweets are what you came for. This bakery has something from everyone. From a syrup Minion brownie to classic Minion cupcakes you’ll find just what your sweet tooth is craving here! You’ll even find Macarons and S’mores!
Just like everywhere else in Minions Land, the decor here is perfect! From an adorably sweet Kevin Cupid to a sticky Stuart who seems to be trapped in bubblegum on the ceiling. There are details to be found everywhere at Bake My Day, and like everywhere else at Universal, don’t forget to look up or you’ll miss it!
Speaking of missing it, you can’t issue this location. It’s the bright pink storefront with the giant cupcake on top! Find it on the corner directly across from the all-new (and coming soon) Villain-Con Minion Blast! It’s safe to say that Bake My Day is kid tested, Minon approved!
