Top Three Snacks In Each Walt Disney World Park

Whether you’re snacking around the world at Disney’s Epcot, or working up a mid-afternoon appetite with all that walking around the parks, snacks can be just as vital – and just as enjoyable – as meals at Walt Disney World!  So where should you look for the perfect snack the next time you’re at WDW?  Read on to discover our top snack picks at each Disney park.

Epcot

1. Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich

The France pavilion in Disney’s Epcot is snack central.  You can’t go wrong here, and we’ve never visited Epcot without stopping at L’Artisan des Glaces, where absolutely everything tastes like heaven.  Opt for the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich to sample both the classic macaron and tantalizing artisanal ice cream in one bite.

2. Werther’s Chewy Caramel Bar

If you’ve ever set foot in Germany’s Karamell-Kuche, you’ll know it has some of the most delicious snacks on Disney property.  (And if you haven’t, you reeeeally need to go.)  The Werther’s Chewy Caramel Bar always receives top marks, but know that you truly can’t go wrong here – and let’s face it, you’re probably not leaving here with just ONE snack, now are you?

3. Nachos

For those with big appetites even between meals, the best place in Epcot to chow down is Mexico’s La Cantina de San Angel, where you can enjoy a big plate of the signature Nachos.  They’re topped with all of the yumminess you would expect, including nacho cheese, ground beef, jalapenos, beans, tomatoes and sour cream.  There’s no shame in sharing.

Magic Kingdom

1. Popcorn

Ah, good ol’ popcorn – sometimes nothing else will do for a snack.  At Magic Kingdom, you’re in luck!  You can find freshly made popcorn in souvenir buckets around the park.  For more flavors, or to bring home for a souvenir, opt for the prepackaged, gourmet yumminess of Disney’s Main Street Popcorn.

2. Dole Whip

Probably the most iconic snack on Walt Disney World property, the classic Dole Whip is available at Aloha Isle.  If you’ve never had the pleasure, it’s a frozen treat that is available in vanilla, pineapple or combined flavors.  You can also get it as a float, serviced with pineapple juice.

3. Cinnamon Roll

Wandering around Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland is just plain fun.  While you contemplate how to use antlers in all of YOUR decorating, you can munch on a Warm Cinnamon Roll, which is exactly as comforting and delicious as you’d imagine.  If you have a Gaston-sized appetite, grab a Grey Stuff Cupcake too.

Hollywood Studios

1. Carrot Cake Cookie

We have yet to try this treat, but we’ve heard so much about it that we had to include it on the list anyway.  The Carrot Cake Cookie can now be found at the Trolley Car Cafe – and it has guests raving.  And what’s not to love?  Cookies, carrot cake – sounds like a delicious combo to us!

2. Ronto Wrap

For those of you who don’t think “snack” is synonymous with “dessert”, never fear, we have a snack option for you, too!  The Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a whole lot of roasted and grilled pork tangy slaw and peppercorn sauce, stuffed inside a pita.  In fact, it’s such a mouthful that it really walks the line between “snack” and “meal”, but either way, you won’t regret your choice.

Ronto Morning Wrap

3. Lunch Box Tarts

For a snack that’s bound to make you feel like a kid again, head to Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and score a Lunch Box Tart.  There are several flavors to choose from, but personally we’d opt for the Chocolate-Hazelnut version, complete with candied bacon and maple fondant.

Animal Kingdom

1. Cinnamon-Glazed Almonds and Pecans

Hands-down our favorite snack in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the Cinnamon Glazed Nuts found at Drinkwallah.  Fair warning – they’re nothing short of addictive, regardless of whether you choose the almonds or the pecans.  We’ve even tried to make them at home, but they just don’t taste the same.

2. Pongu Lumpia

There’s absolutely nothing about Pongu Lumpia you won’t love.  Picture spring rolls filled with delectable pineapple cream cheese, and then sprinkled with powdered sugar – just divine, any time of the day!   You’ll find this tasty snack at Pongu Pongu in Pandora – The World of Avatar.

3. Mr Kamal’s Seasoned Fries

If you’re in the mood for something more savory, opt for the Seasoned Fries at Mr. Kamal’s Fries.  With plenty of different sauces including honey kimchi ketchup, saffron aioli and Tandoori honey mustard, and seasoned to perfection, these are unlike any other fries you’ve had on Disney property.
