Bob Iger Critics
As has been reported, Bob Iger brings home a $27 million paycheck annually, putting a spotlight on his comments and forcing blowback from Disney celebrities. The stars (Disney and otherwise) that have come out against Bob Iger include Fran Drescher, Sean Gunn, and Bryan Cranston. But a new celebrity is joining the list of Bob Iger critics: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany.
She-Hulk Speaks
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter from picket lines, the She-Hulk actress addressed Disney CEO Bob Iger’s recent comments. She explained that many creatives have “been completely cast aside” in recent years due to the world of streaming, which has virtually erased the concept of residuals.
“Having worked on a Disney show, I know where people fall through the cracks and where people are taken advantage of and it’s outrageous the amount of wealth that is not shared with the people who actually make the show. That’s crew, cast, writers.”

“I have friends who have been doing this for 30 to 40 years and have lost their health care because the minimums are so relatively low, but wages have gone down, people’s quotes no longer stand for anything,” Tatiana Maslany said.
When asked about Disney’s CEO Bob Iger’s stance, Maslany told the outlet that he is “completely out of touch” with the creative minds “who bring viewers to him and him money.”
“Having worked on a Disney show,” she continued, “I know where people fall through the cracks and where people are taken advantage of, and it’s outrageous the amount of wealth that is not shared with the people who actually make the show. That’s crew, cast, writers.”
While She-Hulk has not been considered a rousing success on Disney Plus, it has awarded Tatiana Maslany a powerful voice as a Marvel superhero.
As for the MCU, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has expressed his disappointment to the Marvel community, saying he hopes to see his actors and writers back in action soon.
