More and more live-action fairy tales have been announced, including a remake of Tangled (2011), a beloved Disney movie from just over ten years ago.
As a result, Disney fans have tasked themselves with something monumental: finding the perfect cast before the Walt Disney Company can.

Disney Works Hard, But Disney Fans Work Harder
We recently reported on the fact that Florence Pugh seems to be the number one choice to play a live-action Princess Rapunzel, and we can totally see it.
After all, she definitely looks the part, with her expressive green eyes, round face, and of course, beautiful blond hair. As an actress, Florence Pugh has spectacular range, starring in projects as heartwarming as Little Women (2019) and as harrowing as Oppenheimer (2023).
Most importantly, Florence Pugh also has a lovely voice and could easily enchant audiences as Princess Rapunzel.

A Perfect Prince Is Only As Good As the Perfect Princess
Of course, the perfect prince is as important as the perfect princess, especially after The Little Mermaid (2023) knocked it out of the park by casting Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric and Halle Bailey as Princess Ariel.
Needless to say, there are some big shoes to fill for Flynn Rider, one of the dreamiest princes around. But one souce claims to have found the perfect choice: another Disney prince.

The Perfect Disney Princes Is…Another Disney Prince?
If you grew up in the 2000s, then you’ll remember Disney’s live-action Narnia adaptations, especially Prince Caspian. Nearly fifteen years later and Prince Caspian is just as dreamy as you remember him, but is he dreamy enough to play Flynn Rider? One report says so.
At over six feet tall with brown eyes, dark hair, and handsome stubble, Ben Barnes certainly looks the part. But does he sound the part? We’re not entirely sure! Ben Barnes’s filmography isn’t exactly made up of musicals, and he isn’t known for singing in the same way Florence Pugh is known for singing.
