The ride first debuted at Disneyland Park in Anaheim in 1969. In fact, Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion was one of the last attractions that Walt Disney personally oversaw. Later, The Haunted Mansion came to Walt Disney World in 1971 as an opening day attraction. International Parks followed suit though each iteration was slightly different to accommodate cultural sensitivities surrounding death.

Gazebos, fountains, and statues will adorn the park-like setting as guests lounge under heirloom trees surrounded by fresh flowers!
The One-Eyed Cat garden will feature a pet cemetery and statues for some of the mansion’s four legged dearly departed.
