Don’t Plan on Visiting These Disney Parks Anytime Soon

magic kingdom crowdds with a no over the castle

Multiple Orlando Disney Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort are now completely sold-out, without any remaining reservation dates, according to new reports.

The Florida theme parks have remained popular with locals and tourists alike since Magic Kingdom Park first opened in 1971. Today, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios all create memorable experiences for Guests of all ages, whether they come every day or save for years for a once-in-a-lifetime vacation.

Unfortunately, this same popularity makes the admission in high demand, especially around peak periods such as holidays. While Walt Disney World attempts to accommodate all interested parties, with the recent introduction of the theme park reservation system in 2020, many experiences (such as Tower of Terror), as well as entire Parks, are reaching maximum capacity in new ways.

For example, the Florida Disney Resort hit maximum capacity for more than one Disney Park in advance of President’s Day Weekend, preventing many parties from entering The Most Magical Place on Earth… at least if any of the attractions and entertainment at Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios’ was on their to-do list. Of course, with the return of Fantasmic!, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and the opening of Tomorrowland’s TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guests obviously hope to experience these two Parks’ offerings.

As reported by Inside the Magic, this massive influx of visitors continues, with same-day Park reservations remaining unavailable throughout the end of the week. Indeed, over the course of the next five days, Magic Kingdom will not be available for any Guests who did not already secure entry in advance from now until February 23, with the same being observed for Hollywood Studios until the 22.

While it’s always possible that someone else might miss or cancel their reservations, those planning a trip within this time frame should plan accordingly and perhaps prioritize experiences at the two available Parks first. In addition, those who can reschedule their visits (such as local Annual Pass Holders) can always move plans to further on the calendar in anticipation of slots reopening soon, though issues remain with availability for Lightning Lane and Disney Genie privileges.

Of course, the best strategy is to follow the Walt Disney World reservation calendar closely and follow DisneyDining for more Disney Parks updates as they become available!
