Making of ‘Ant-Man 4’: “Probably Going to Surprise Some People”

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the fourth installment of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man film franchise, following actor Paul Rudd as the insect-themed superhero. Now Disney Plus has surprised fans with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Marvel movie, in which Paul Rudd claims that Ant-Man 4 is “probably going to surprise some people.” What fans are most surprised about, though, is the inclusion of Jonathan Majors.

Based on Marvel Comics, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania follows Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/The Wasp, continuing their quantum realm plot line. The microscopic dimension sucks in Scott, his daughter Cassie Lang, and Hope, as well as her parents Hanky Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer).

The group encounters a trapped Kang the Conqueror, played by disgraced Marvel actor Jonathan Majors, who is desperately trying to escape the realm to continue a villainous plot. Ant-Man‘s fourth film offers a mix of action, humor, and mind-bending concepts as the heroes navigate the quantum realm and meet new characters.

Her favorite Disney experiences include the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, eating Mickey Bars on the PeopleMover, and crying during the Magic Kingdom fireworks show. One day she hopes to be chosen as the rebel spy on Star Tours. When Lana isn’t Park Hopping, she’s at home… More »
