One Disney actor’s star power has plummeted after some major allegations were released in March.
Prior to this incident, Jonathan Majors was on the way to becoming one of Hollywood’s A-list stars. The actor had a phenomenal last year career-wise; he earned himself an Emmy nomination for Lovecraft Country and played a leading role in the smash hit movie Creed III. Perhaps his most significant career move was accepting a prominent reoccurring role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Major’s upward trajectory has not dramatically spiraled after he found himself at the center of some very serious allegations of physical assault. His lawyers have maintained that he is innocent, but new information leads us to believe that Majors is ousted from Hollywood for good.
Jonathan Majors Ditched by His Representation
In the entertainment industry, having good talent management is crucial. A good management team is a big reason why Majors has had so many incredible opportunities in the last year. Majors was on top of the world; he had just premiered the role of Kang in the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This film was setting Majors to be a significant part of Marvel’s newest phase.
This all changed on March 25, 2023, when the actor was charged with assault and harassment toward a 30-year-old woman in NYC. The domestic dispute ended with the woman being hospitalized with minor injuries. Majors’ team stuck by him for the last month, but it has just been revealed that he has been dropped by his talent management.
Majors was signed with Entertainment 360. This partnership ending leads fans to believe that he may be guilty of the alledges crimes. With Majors already signed on to appear in future Marvel movies, including Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in 2025, this is a sticky situation for Marvel to fix. Majors was also previously dropped from his public relations manager the Lede Company.
