Disney Parks worldwide will receive a new character encounter in celebration of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, which just released in theaters this week.
The third installment in Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man franchise follows Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), two superheroes who use Pym Tech’s shrinking and growing technology to fight threats to humanity and taking on the new Quantum Realm alongside Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton). Disney Parks Blog has shared information about the character meet-and-greets, which will commemorate the movie’s release.
For example, Southern California Guests will be excited to interact with Kang the Conqueror, an infamous villain from the comics who appears in the new film and in Disney+’s Loki (2021). Kang will appear at Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort for a limited time, seeking information on some of the fans’ favorite heroes and recruiting Guests for his schemes. Moreover, Guests enjoy the new “Ooze Cauldron” sipper inspired by the film, available while supplies last at Pym Test Kitchen.
Plus, fans who hope to meet Lang and Van Dyne themselves will be pleased to know the characters appear in entertainment experiences overseas, such as a heroic encounter at Hong Kong Disneyland, available until March 5, 2023, where Guests can also experience the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! dark ride. In addition, the duo will appear at Shanghai Disney Resort to take selfies with visitors alongside a Marvel Universe display until March 17.
Furthermore, the world’s second Avengers Campus area, located at Disneyland Paris, will welcome Ant-Man and the Wasp back from their quantum journey, where Guests can also enjoy bites at PYM Kitchen and new Skyline Bar cocktails inspired by the film at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. And, at Worlds of Marvel on the Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line Guests can experience a plethora of Marvel cast during Avengers: Quantum Encounter and the Marvel Super Hero Academy Heroes Unite stage spectacular.
Of course, there’s plenty of heroic magic in store regarding Marvel Studios and Disney Parks, but even if you can’t make it to one of these theme parks for a character encounter, you can watch Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania in theaters now!
