During this period, he focused on his music with his band, Hollywood Vampires. While Depp was touring with his band, he was allegedly found unconscious in a hotel room. Many fans were worried about Johnny Depp’s health after this accident, and he was seen walking with a cane shortly after due to an ankle injury.

However, Johnny Depp cannot stay down for long and has now made a triumphant return to acting.

 Jeanne Du Barry, is Johnny Depp’s latest cinematic venture. This film stirred up considerable controversy at its premiere in Cannes. Since then, the film has been receiving less-than-favorable reviews. Musicmudial reported that Jeanne Du Barry has been “slaughtered” by the critics. This new film was made in 2023 and features Johnny Depp as the French King.

Critics believe Depp tends to play variations of the same character, with different names and roles, but consistently maintains a uniform personality. These critics expressed backlash over several areas of the movie, including Depp’s portrayal. With backlash pouring in for his new film– despite so many loyal fans who have supported him– many believe that this could be seen as a warning sign to Disney as the company considers his return to the role of Captain Jack Sparrow, that is, if Johnny Depp even wants to come back to the company.
