We all know that breakfast is the most important part of the day. Unfortunately, when you’re in a hurry to get to the parks during your Disney vacation and don’t have time for a dining reservation, breakfast can sometimes get skipped. Obviously, this isn’t good for your body or for anyone’s moods. Fortunately, there is a way around this issue: quick service breakfast options.
Many people don’t even realize this, but the Disney parks totally have quick service dining breakfast options available. This means you can stop in for a quick bite on your way from one ride to another, losing hardly any park time at all and ensuring everyone stays full and happy until lunch time.
Some of the best of these breakfast options are found in the Magic Kingdom Disney park. In fact, Magic Kingdom quick service breakfast is so good that we actually purposely wait to eat so we can enjoy them, and we recommend you do the same.
Here are the choices you’ll have when you go this route.

– For Hearty Breakfast –
Looking for something warm and filling to start your Walt Disney World day? There are three Magic Kingdom quick service restaurant locations that offer hot breakfast. Visit one of these spots if you’re feeling especially hungry and need something hearty to start the day.
Main Street Bakery
The first quick service dining place to get a hot breakfast in the Magic Kingdom is the Main Street Bakery. As many of you already know, the Main Street Bakery is actually a Starbucks in disguise. As such, the store offers the same breakfast sandwich options you’d find at any Starbucks store outside of the parks.
Whether you prefer bacon, egg, and gouda, or ham and swiss on a croissant, there is sure to be a sandwich option you’ll enjoy here. Not only that, you can use a Starbucks card to pay and even earn points on your purchase (although redeeming those stars in the parks is unfortunately out of the question). Of course, you’ll also have the opportunity to grab a coffee while you’re there, which is a major bonus in our book.

Westward Ho
Another excellent option for a hot Magic Kingdom breakfast is Westward Ho. While the breakfast menu here is small, the food is fantastic. Additionally, the service here is very fast and there is rarely a line, making it the perfect place to go when you’re in a hurry.
The most filling breakfast choice at this quick service dining spot is a bacon, egg, and cheddar sandwich on a multigrain croissant. This is a seriously good sandwich that includes plenty of egg cooked to perfection, as well as a healthy helping of bacon. The croissant is incredible and does a great job of pulling the whole sandwich together.
Other breakfast options are smaller and include powdered cinnamon-sugar donut holes that are made onsite, as well as a Wendell’s Bear Claw. Both are delicious, and are perfect for those who just need a breakfast snack to tide them over.
Friar’s Nook
Last on our list of hearty quick service breakfast spots in the Magic Kingdom is Friar’s Nook. Like Westward Ho, this restaurant is also a walk-up window that offers super fast service. While this spot does tend to see a bit more traffic in the afternoons, we’ve found it’s pretty dead in the mornings, so you should be able to get something to munch on pretty quickly.
The options at this Disney dining spot are very similar to those offered at Westward Ho. The same delicious bacon, scrambled egg, cheese sandwich is offered, and it’s just as good here as it is there. The cinnamon-sugar donuts are also available in this spot, and are made fresh daily. Lastly, there is another hot breakfast item that isn’t offered anywhere else in the park: sausage and gravy tots.
The sausage and gravy tots are exactly what you might imagine: tater tots with white sausage gravy on top. The tots add a perfect crispiness to the dish, and the creamy gravy is seasoned just perfectly. We highly recommend this Disney food on a chilly morning.

– For Lighter Bites –
Sometimes you just want something light and quick to keep your belly full enough until lunchtime rolls around. If this is the case for you, you’re in luck; Magic Kingdom has several great places to grab a light breakfast treat before you hit the rides.
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
Conveniently located in Liberty Square and very near the main hub, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is all about waffles and funnel cakes. They offer both of these things all day long, but we find they make especially good breakfast items. We particularly love the adorable Mickey waffle with strawberries and powdered sugar found on this menu.
One thing that isn’t available all day at Sleepy Hollow is the fresh fruit waffle sandwich. In our opinion, this is one of the best breakfast snacks on property, and you absolutely should try it if you make it over there during the morning hours. It consists of a perfect golden waffle, a generous smear of chocolate hazelnut spread, and a whole lot of bananas and berries, and it is heavenly.

Cheshire Cafe
Another great place for a light Magic Kingdom breakfast is Cheshire Cafe. While they don’t offer a lot of breakfast food options, what they do have is both super cute and super tasty.
And what are those available things, you ask? Cheshire Cat tails.
These long, flaky pastries are covered in chocolate chips and pink and purple icing. They remind us of a more colorful version of a chocolate croissant, and they pair perfectly with the tea beverages offered at the same stand.
Gaston’s Tavern
Are you a cinnamon roll fan? If so, you simply must head to Gaston’s Tavern to try the warm cinnamon roll served there. This sticky, gooey roll is served all day long, but we especially love to grab one in the morning and pretend it’s a healthy and well-rounded Magic Kingdom breakfast.
Make sure to grab an apple juice or OJ to wash it down!

Liberty Square Market
Those looking for something super quick, light, and healthy should head to Liberty Square Market. This is located near the Haunted Mansion ride and is pretty easy to find. The market sells ready-to-eat items such as fresh whole fruit and Babybel Cheese, and we find it super easy to build a simple yet yummy breakfast from their offerings.
Joffrey’s Revive Coffee Kiosk
Finally, we must mention the Joffrey’s Coffee kiosk located in Tomorrowland. This particular kiosk is called “Revive” (a fitting name, considering their focus is coffee) and is a popular place, meaning it often has a very long line.
Like all of the other Joffrey’s kiosks, you can expect to find a variety of pastries at this quick service location. Our favorite? The comically gigantic donuts, which are surprisingly delicious.
Of course, you will want to make sure you order some sort of coffee as well. We recommend a cold brew.
