The big 50th Anniversary week is upon us and Disney is sharing all sorts of exciting news! When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Walt Disney World entertainment cuts were made and many of the entertainment offerings did not reopen with the rest of the Disney Parks. EPCOT has especially been very quiet as entertainment around the World Showcase has been greatly missed. As October 1 marks the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney is pulling out all the stops by returning magical entertainment once again! We previously shared the exciting news that EPCOT’s Matsuriza Drummers are returning to Japan Pavilion… now, you’ll also have a chance to laugh along with master juggler and mime, Sergio, as he delights you with his lighthearted, Old-World act in EPCOT’s World Showcase!

Sergio has been one of our favorite Park entertainment offerings for as long as we can remember! This mime might not have much to say, but he sure does know how to use his body and expressions to tell a whole story. It’s a perfect slice of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy in EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion.

Disney describes Sergio’s entertainment with, “Clowning Around: As you stroll the charming piazza at the Italy Pavilion, stop and enjoy the antics and impressive skills of our resident juggler. Cheer loud enough and he may invite you to become part of the act!”

You may be in a hurry to scurry off to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction, but you’ll definitely want to check out the showtimes for Sergio. Currently, the Italian juggler is on the Disney Park calendar to return on October 1, 2021, with showtimes including 12:30 p.m., 1:35 p.m., 2:35 p.m., 3:35 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:40 p.m., and 6:40 p.m. Welcome back, Sergio! We can’t wait to see him perform and bring EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion back to life once again!
