Grab a fork, your best friends, and those stretchy pants… because it’s time to plan a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! In the midst of making magical memories, the dining experience offered throughout Disney property is paramount to other theme parks. But what’s the absolute best restaurant at Disney World? Here’s our pick.
Disney World Dining
Walt Disney World has well over 400 dining options to choose from. With food and beverage kiosks, lounges, pool bars, popcorn carts, quick-service restaurants, table-service restaurants, character dining, dinner show, and fine and signature dining – you’ll never go hungry while visiting Disney!
Top Orlando, Florida dining locations are nestled on Disney property – spread throughout Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and the multitude of Disney Resort Hotels. But, for our favorite, you’ll need a Disney Park ticket to EPCOT.
Dining 220 Miles Above Earth
Imagine this. You’ve had a fantastic day at EPCOT with incredible rides such as Soarin’ Around the World, Frozen Ever After, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. But now, the Florida sunshine is asking you to take a break. Time for lunch or dinner in the World Discovery portion of the Park, 220 miles above the earth! Don’t worry; no rocket ship is needed. Instead, a simulated space journey unfolds in the heart of Florida.
Going Up?
Unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before, Space 220 Restaurant, located in EPCOT, offers an immersive dining experience that takes Guests on a simulated journey to a space station located 220 miles above Earth.
The concept behind Space 220 is to provide Guests with the feeling of dining in outer space. Upon arrival, Guests enter a space-themed elevator that simulates a trip from Earth to the space station. As the elevator “ascends,” Guests can observe the Earth transforming from a bustling cityscape into a breathtaking view of our planet from space.

Check Out the Views
Once the elevator doors open, Guests enter the Centauri Space Station, a fictional space station. The restaurant’s interior is designed to resemble a futuristic space environment, with large windows offering panoramic views of outer space. The atmosphere is complete with simulated space travel sounds and a zero-gravity effect on the waitstaff uniforms.
Tastebuds Rejoice!
Space 220 features a diverse menu inspired by international cuisine with a modern twist. The dishes are crafted using innovative cooking techniques and premium ingredients. Guests can indulge in a range of appetizers, entrees, and desserts that are expertly prepared to enhance the dining experience.
The restaurant also offers an extensive selection of cocktails (and yes, they are INCREDIBLE!), wines, and other beverages that complement the space-themed menu.
