Disney Dining Serving up the latest Disney Eats, Treats, News, and More!
While we are currently experiencing cooler weather in Central Florida, our minds prefer to shift to the warmer temperatures that arrive in Spring! Spring is a gorgeous season to experience in Florida… which means it’s also a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. To put us in the Spring spirit, Disney is dishing out details about the upcoming 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival!
The hard-working Cast Members in the horticulture and festival departments at Walt Disney World Resort are preparing for EPCOT’s upcoming festival. While the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is in full swing through February 21, we are shifting gears to March.
We previously shared the news that the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run from March 2 to July 4 which provides us with a total of 125 days to enjoy a plethora of “colorful blooms, good tunes, fragrant scents, and fresh flavors.” Disney has revealed a few extra details as we make EPCOT festival plans!
New Topiaries on Display
First up, the favorite Disney Character topiaries will make a return this year so prepare for those ideal family photos. You can expect a NEW main entrance display that will feature Goofy with a birthday cake celebrating the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary.
You can also expect new topiaries of the Seven Dwarfs to accompany Snow White near the Germany pavilion in World Showcase. And yes, Disney has confirmed the return of Beauty and the Beast‘s beloved Lumiere and Cogsworth topiaries in the France pavilion, as well as The Lion King‘s Pumbaa and Timon topiaries near Imagination.

New Fragrant Garden
Can you smell that? Well, soon you will be able to experience a new fragrant garden! That’s right, on the bridge to the World Showcase, Guests will have a chance to check out the sights and scents of the new Fragrant Garden which is being presented by one of Disney’s newest partners, Scentsy. “Surrounded by vibrant butterfly topiaries, Guests will be invited to follow their noses to six scent stations—floral, fruity, citrus, spice, woods, and fresh—to form lasting memories with the help of unforgettable aromas.”

Health Trail, Outdoor Escapes, and Bambi’s Butterfly House
Be sure to check out the Health Trail that will be available for families to play and learn with tips about how to stay healthy! Plus, you’ll find an Outdoor Escapes locations that provide a moment to relax away from the Festival crowds. Bambi is being represented at the Festival as well with Bambi’s Butterfly House which is always a favorite for EPCOT Guests as they get to see several stunning butterflies flutter around.

Garden Rocks Concert Series
We previously shared the big news that you’ll be able to listen to some amazing artists take the stage with the Garden Rocks Concert Series. The concert series will feature internationally recognized artists on the America Gardens Theatre stage Friday through Monday; local bands will rock the house Tuesday through Thursday. Outdoor Kitchens
Get ready to dig in! Grab your friends and plan on eating and drinking your share as Disney has announced they will have 18 Outdoor Kitchens at this year’s Festival. Explore EPCOT Farmers Feast which will offer menu options that rotate throughout the festival. While Disney has said the full Festival foodie’s guide will come later in February, we do know other new menu items will be available at The Citrus Blossom, Magnolia Terrace, and Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina, among others.
Food Stroll
Are you a fan of scavenger hunts? Well, this one focuses on FOOD! Get ready to check out the Garden Graze. Disney has said this is “a fun food stroll highlighting five delicious sweet and savory offerings listed in the Festival Passport. Complete the graze to receive a special treat!”

Merchandise
Of course, an EPCOT Festival isn’t complete without some fantastic merchandise! You can expect garden-inspired merchandise collections featuring vibrant apparel, drinkware, garden tools, and more. This year’s collections will feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Orange Bird, Figment, and the adorable Spike the Bee.
