We finally know when Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast is officially opening to the public: on August 11, this new shoot ’em up style attraction will officially open to all Guests visiting Universal Studios Orlando.
This all-new attraction is similar to Magic Kingdom’s Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, or Universal Studios’ Men In Black attraction, in which Guests shoot at targets and earn points.

Guests will stand on a specific spot in the moving walkway, and if they move from that spot, their laser gun will no longer fire.
