Universal Orlando Resort Guests with smaller children need to try this hack.
Universal Orlando Resort is a premier entertainment destination located in Orlando, Florida. It is one of the most popular theme park resorts in the world and is known for its thrilling rides, immersive attractions, and iconic characters from movies and television. Universal Orlando is comprised of two main theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, as well as the water park Volcano Bay, Universal Orlando offers a diverse array of experiences for Guests of all ages.
While Universal Orlando is much like Walt Disney World Resort ,one key difference is that Disney has may attractions that do not include height requirements. Guests heading to Universal must either be a certain height for almost all of the attractions or families can partake in child-swap, which is a room that families wait in while others in their party rides the attraction and when they are finished the come back to child-swap and switch off for the attraction.
A couple of attractions at Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure do not have a height requirement. Guests can take babies or smaller children on Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem (using the stationary seats), the Hogwarts Express, Storm Force Accelatron, Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, the Caro-Seuss-el, and different shows since they do not require Guests being a certain height. In addition, Universal’s new Villain-Con Minion Blast will not have a height requirement with its only restriction being that children must be able to stand on their own.
In a viral TikTok, one Universal Mom shows how children who are not tall enough for attractions can do this simple hack. Universal Guests can head to the attraction and go to see how much taller they need to be to ride the attraction and, if they are not the correct height to ride, shorter Guests can ask for a height certificate for when they are finally the correct height to ride they can go straight to the front without waiting in line.

Universal Orlando does this to allow Guests who wish they could ride the attraction at that moment to be able to look forward for when they finally meet that requirement it is a reward for waiting.
Have you ever gotten a height certificate? If so what attraction are you most looking forward to being able to ride?
