Several Universal Orlando Resort Guests have been disappointed with a change they’ve reportedly noticed.

Universal Orlando offers various attractions and experiences for visitors of all ages. Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan, a roller coaster enthusiast, or just looking for a fun day out, Universal Orlando is a great destination to add to your itinerary. Universal Orlando is a popular tourist destination located in Orlando, Florida. It is a part of the larger Universal Destinations and Experiences, which includes Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Studios Singapore. With all of these different theme parks, Universal is continuing to grow and expand. Right now, Universal Orlando Resort is in the process of building a third theme park in Florida called Epic Universe which will open in 2025. Also, Universal is in the process of building a third theme park in the U.S.A., which will be located in Texas.

Universal Orlando is home to two theme parks: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Universal also has a water park called Volcano Bay for Guests to beat the Florida heat. Universal Orlando has something for everyone, including thrilling rides, immersive experiences, and themed attractions.

With thousands of Guests coming daily, Team Members deal with disrespectful Guests, other Team Members and some just are having a bad day.

In a social media post Guests questioned how Team Members acted and how they treated them and said they were disappointed with something they feel “is a change.”

“Has anyone else been kind of bummed to run into your typical theme park problems while in Universal? You know… The staff who are in a bad mood and end up taking it out on patrons? The lack of organization in some rides / restaurants? The overly aggressive staff member? I think I got caught up in the hype and forgot that, at the end of the day, this still IS a theme park. We visited for a week and still had a blast though all things considering!

Another Guest talks about how Team Members are still people, and Guests tend to forget they are just working a job. Team Members tend to wear uncomfortable or hot clothing and then deal with upset Guests and issues when they occur.

“People working in theme parks have it rough. It’s (usually) hot, they are wearing uncomfortable clothes and they deal with constant unruly guests that think the world revolves around them because they are on an expensive Universal/Disney vacation.

Not saying any employees being rude is acceptable, but try and understand where they are coming from.”

While Team Members should treat Guests with kindness, try and remember on your next vacation, we do not know what is going on in that Team Member’s life and what they are dealing with. If you have a great experience with a Team Member, Guests can write a compliment card for them.

Overall, Universal Orlando Resort Team Members work to bring an awesome day and experience to Guests visiting the theme parks.
