Universal Orlando Resort has been seen draining the water out of the lagoon.
Universal Orlando is a world-renowned theme park resort located in Orlando, Florida. It is a popular destination for both tourists and locals alike, coming to enjoy thrilling attractions, visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, or immerse themselves in the shows.
Universal has two theme parks: Universal’s Island of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. Universal is also in the process of building a third theme park called Epic Universe, which will be opened in 2025. Universal Orlando is also home to a water park for Guests to beat the Florida heat called Volcano Bay, and Universal Park Guests will also walk through City Walk, which includes restaurants, shops, and much more to enjoy.

Universal Islands of Adventure is divided into several areas, including Marvel Super Hero Island, Seuss Landing, Jurassic Park, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade. Universal Islands of Adventure includes attractions such as Jurassic Park River Adventure, Skull Island Reign on Kong, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
Next Door at Universal Studios Florida, Guests can head over to Diagon Alley and help Harry Potter and his friends. Guests can experience thrilling attractions such as Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Revenge of the Mummy, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, E.T. Adventure, The Simpsons Ride, Race Through New York Featuring Jimmy Fallon, and many more attractions. At Universal Studios Florida, Guests can also view shows like The Bourne Stuntacular, Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show, and Animal Actors On Location!

ParkTwister tweeted an image showing that the Universal Studios Florida lagoon is being drained. Universal has not confirmed a new show is coming yet, but Guests are speculating that a new nighttime show will be coming to Universal. Drone testing has also been confirmed at the theme park.

Universal is constantly changing and updating its Parks. Universal Studios Florida is seeing massive changes near the front of the Park. A new Minions-themed attraction will soon be opening up in the summer of 2023, which will be Villian Con- Minion Blast. Also, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is receiving a facelift before the new Minion Land officially opens. Universal will also be adding a Minion Cafe.
