Each Disney Resort throughout Walt Disney World features its own wonderful theming that completely immerses Guests and transports them to a bygone era of Victorian elegance, the South Pacific, New Orleans’ French Quarter, New York’s Saratoga Springs, the African savannah, and other beautiful locations.

With so many wonderful Disney Resorts to enjoy, many Guests love exploring each location and soaking in the theming and details, and a great way to do this is through relaxing and sipping on a specialty cocktail. S’mores Shake – Beaches & Cream Soda Shop – Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Disney’s Beach Club Resort transports Guests to a classic New England seaside Resort complete with pastel colors, charming water views, and a relaxed atmosphere that can be enjoyed at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. This table service restaurant serves up American classics in massive portions and is well known for its over-the-top ice cream creations, including several specialty cocktails that put a grown-up spin on milkshakes. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort whisks Guests to the serenity of the South Seas with white sand beaches, tropical theming, and several popular dining locations, including Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. This lounge is extremely popular with Guests and welcomes them to enjoy tropical sips with immersive and interactive reactions that get everyone in on the fun. A specialty beverage available at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto that is great for sharing is the Uh-Oa which blends Plantation Original Dark Rum, Bacardi Superior Rum, orange, passion fruit, guava, pineapple, and grapefruit juices, falernum, cinnamon, and lime juice for a trip to the tropics in every sip.

Another very popular specialty cocktail that Guests love to sip on at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto comes with a souvenir container and the chance to score an even more rare souvenir. The Polynesian Pearl feature RumChata Cream Liqueur, Grand Marnier, cinnamon, and tropical juices and is served in a shiny white pearl that magically appears behind the bar with each order. While the white pearl is lovely, lucky Guests score a black pearl, which is fairly rare and makes for a great souvenir to remember the vacation with.

Also found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is the Tambu Lounge, which is an open-air lounge found on the upper level of the Great Ceremonial House next to ‘Ohana and Kona Café. Tambu Lounge is well known for its tropical drinks that Guests can sip while looking out large windows at Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom, and one of the most popular menu options is the Backscratcher. This fun beverage features Bacardi Superior Rum, Plantation Original Dark Rum, and guava-passion fruit juice topped with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and is served in a tall glass with an ornamental bamboo backscratcher.
