Today, I’m inviting you to join me in journeying where few souls have gone before and survived. There may be battles, there will be controversy. But in the end, if we join together, we may all come out on the other side, knowing that our snack will always win in our hearts. Today, I am ranking the top 10 Walt Disney World snacks from worst to best.

10. Churro

Starting out at number ten, we have a classic, the Walt Disney World churro. Now, Disneyland fans may be in an uproar, but I have to point out that data shows us that the Walt Disney World churro cannot compare to the Disneyland churro. So it falls here at number ten, a solid classic snack. You can find a Disney churro at various snack carts throughout the Parks, as well as Sunshine Churros at Disney Springs Marketplace and West Side.

9. Mickey Mouse Chocolate Chip Cookie

At number nine, we have a new kid on the block. This cookie doesn’t share the nostalgia of many Disney snacks, but it does have the classic Mickey shape we’ve come to love.

You will find many character-shaped snacks in Walt Disney World, but in my opinion, the Mickey Chocolate Chip Cookie is a great choice. This snack tastes great, is a great bang for your buck, and is perfect for an Instagram-worthy Mickey snack photo. You can find this cookie at The Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

8. Grilled Corn on the Cob

Does this snack surprise you? I hope not! If it does, you need to head to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to try the Grilled Corn on the Cob at Harambe Fruit Market. You can order the Grilled Corn on the Cob with or without delicious African Spices. This grilled snack is perfect for a midday energy boost for just $5.29. During EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival, you can also find a variation of this grilled corn at the entrance to the World Showcase.

7. Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich

There are a lot of options for ice cream at the Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll find Mickey-shaped ice cream treats, soft-serve, and hand-scooped ice cream throughout the Parks and Resorts. One of my favorites is the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich at Dino-Bite Snacks. This snack features Vanilla Haagen-Dazs Hand-scooped Ice Cream sandwiched between freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. This snack is $7.29 and is the perfect sweet treat for a hot day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

6. Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist

Our last stop in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park comes in as our number six Disney snack! Head to Isle of Java to try the Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist. This chocolate twisted pastry is topped with frosting and costs $5.79. A similar snack, the Cheshire Cat Tail, is available at the Cheshire Cafe in Magic Kingdom.

5. Custom Popcorn Mix

We’ve reached halfway, are you still with me? Head to Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionery for our number five snack. The Confectionery is filled with sweet snacks, but one of the newer favorites is found at the Kernel Kitchen. Here, you can build your own custom popcorn mix. Select your flavor of popcorn and all your favorite toppings, and watch a Cast Member mix your creation.

4. Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

Did you know there’s a secret Disney snack location in Magic Kingdom? Just before the entrance to Adventureland, you can find the Spring Roll Snack Cart. This snack location serves delicious spring rolls with intriguing seasonal flavors. Some favorites over the years have included Pastrami, Pepperoni Pizza, and my favorite, the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. This dining location isn’t open every Park day, so keep your eyes out to catch this delicious snack.

3. Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie

The Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie (formerly the Carrot Cake Cookie) ranks number three for best Disney snacks. This may be controversial; I know not everyone is a carrot cake fan, but this is one of my must-get snacks whenever I’m at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You will find this snack for $4.99 at The Trolley Car Cafe. This cookie features two slices of carrot cake with cream cheese filling, a great Walt Disney World snack.

2. DOLE Whip

DOLE Whip may be the most iconic Walt Disney World snack, coming in at number two on my list! This frozen treat most notably comes in pineapple, but you can also find it in other flavors, including lime, strawberry, watermelon, orange, and more. I love the DOLE Whip Float with Rum, available at many snack locations.

You can find this treat throughout the Parks and Resorts. Locations known for DOLE Whip include Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom, Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs.

1. Mickey Beignets

Ranking number one, the ultimate Disney snack, is the Mickey Beignets from Scat Cat’s Club Cafe at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.

These fried and fluffy beignets are the perfect snack after a long Disney Park day or a great breakfast treat. Dusted with powdered sugar, you can enjoy this New Orleans treat with your choice of caramel, strawberry, or chocolate dipping sauce. (My favorite is the caramel, but all three are delicious.)

About Megan Losey

As a Disney foodie, I love writing about Disney food and snacks. Some of my favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Apple Blossom from Port Orleans Riverside. When I'm visiting the parks, you can find me on Main Street taking in the good vibe of Magic Kingdom or relaxing with a drink at the Polynesian watching the fireworks from the beach.
