Costumes on Display
At Universal Cinema at Universal Studios Hollywood, costumes are currently on display in the lobby from Oppenheimer (2023). The film, directed by Christopher Nolan, tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, known as the “father of the atomic bomb.” Display cases in the movie theater contain costumes worn by Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Florence Pugh.

The original costumes designed by Ellen Mirojnick were provided to the theater by the NBCUniversal Archives and Collections. The theater has a total of four costumes on display in the lobby. And because they are placed in the lobby, a movie ticket is not required. So if you have no desire to see the film or have already seen it and aren’t planning to go a second time, you can still stop by and enjoy the displays.
