Disney just dropped a teaser trailer that is on the uncharacteristically ominous side, and guests are thrilled at what it means. It’s Halloween party time again at Disney Parks, but the treat trails at Disneyland Resort’s Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party are about to get a serious upgrade. Not one, but TWO new villains will be attending the event this year, and I doubt you can guess them right away.
Events like Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash and Disney World’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offer treat trails where guests can collect candy! Cast Members at different stations or booths distribute bags or containers to guests along with the sweet treats. Disney notes that these trails are immersive and “feature appearances by some of your favorite Disney villains and more!”
Check the video below posted by Disneyland, hinting at the two newly attending villains. Can you guess who they are?

The first is Judge Doom from the 1988 cult classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Yokai (AKA Robert Callaghan) from Big Hero 6 (2014)! How do we know? The bubbling vat of a green chemical goo is how Judge Doom disposed of pesky Toons, specifically a shoe in the movie. Yikes, we know. And the San Fransokyo Square barrel leads to Big Hero 6’s vengeful former professor wreaking havoc as Yokai!
There should be a whopping 11 treat trails this year, each featuring an interactive Disney villain. Fans with Oogie Boogie Bash tickets are pumped to meet these rare niche villains and are glad this announcement rounds out the last two mysterious spots of the 11 treat trails. Here are the other Disney villains expected in each of the other 9 treat trails:
- Mother Gothel from Tangled (2010)
- Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty (1959)
- Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
- Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog (2009)
- Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco (2017)
- Madam Mim from The Black Cauldron (1985)
- Agatha from WandaVision (2021)
- Sid from Toy Story (1995)
- Cruella from One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961)
Enjoy all of those treats, but beware of these Disney villains’ tricks!
