Whether riding a themed attraction or experiencing a character meet-and-greet, seeing characters such as Buzz Lightyear brought to life can really make the magic of Disney real for Guests.

Fans of the Toy Story franchise can meet Sheriff Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear in Walt Disney World and Disneyland Park alike. They can also experience a few different Toy Story attractions depending on which Disney Park they’re visiting, such as Toy Story Mania, Slinky Dog Dash, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

On Disneyland Paris’s official website, we can see a disclaimer that reads, “As part of our continuing efforts to exceed the expectations of our Guests, this attraction is closed today.”

But Inside the Magic has pointed out that this closure will last much longer than a single day. If the ride’s boarded-up state wasn’t enough to indicate an extended closure, Inside the Magic reports that Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is scheduled to reopen on July 12.
