Popcorn Buckets are some of the most sought-after items when visiting Disney Parks. An adorable souvenir that also holds snacks!?! What’s not to love? In recent years the wait times to snag these delightful buckets have gotten out of control, and people have gone to great lengths to get their favorite (I’m still not over how y’all acted about that Figment bucket). Wouldn’t it be nice to have a popcorn bucket without the craziness? Now you can!

To celebrate the all-new Haunted Mansion movie Cinemark has released a brand-new popcorn bucket featuring none other than the mysterious Madame Leota! Best of all, this crystal ballnshaped bucket lights up! It’s spooky, it holds popcorn and it glows: could this be the perfect popcorn bucket? We think maybe. The new Madame Leota popcorn bucket is $22.50 with popcorn or $20 for just the bucket. The only drawback to an otherwise perfect popcorn bucket is that it’s not eligible for refill in Disney Parks.

Predictably, resellers have already acted like parasites by trying to make a buck off of this new offering. Resellers are asking more than double what the bucket cost. The highest price we saw was nearly $100! We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: the only way to stop this behavior is to stop buying.

You can grab this bucket and see The Haunted Mansion only in theaters on July 28, 2023. In the meantime, check out this trailer for the film:

This new version promises thrills, chills and Easter Eggs! Are you as excited as we are to see one of our favorite rides come to the big screen? Though it’s not the first adaptation of the classic Disney Parks ride, it does look like it will be better than the original 1999 film Starring Eddie Murphy that fans love to hate.

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
