If there’s one thing most Disney fans can agree they despise, it’s Disney resellers. If you’ve been to a Disney theme park when new merchandise drops, you’ve most likely seen them. They come in small groups, grab all the merchandise they are allowed to, then take photos of it immediately after purchase so that they can sell it online for double or triple the price, maybe more. Resellers have become so problematic that Tokyo Disney has banned people from buying merchandise if they are going to resell it. And that’s a fantastic idea.
Recently, Disneyland Resort released a brand-new Winnie The Pooh Fleece Jacket. The adorable jacket featured Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood, Tigger, and Eeyore. Temperatures in Southern California have been dipping into the 40s at night, so this new fleece jacket is perfect for those chilly evenings. TikToker Disney Always Disney shared a video of the fleece jacket.
Just found the coziest Winnie the Pooh fleece jacket at Disneyland! It’s available in sizes XS to XXL and I found it at Elias & Co in DCA and World of Disney. It’s the perfect addition to my Pooh collection and keeps me warm on even the chilliest days. Definitely took this home with me!

Guests immediately descended upon the jacket, and some grabbed as many as possible. What really startled Disney Always Disney was that, when he went back to try to purchase another fleece jacket for someone he knew, people were standing there with their hands full of jackets. What’s worse? A group of Guests was literally blocking whatever stock was left, so others could not get to it.
Guess it’s really popular 😅 oops

The Winnie the Pooh Fleece costs $69.99 when purchased at the Parks. However, the jacket could be found online for $125 plus shipping.
This is not the first time — and will sadly not be the last time — resellers have grabbed new merchandise the minute it went on sale. Recently, resellers visited the Happiest Place on Earth to get their hands on a Jose Tiki Mug that went on sale at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. Just hours after the mug was released, it was all over the internet for at least double the price.
U.S. Parks are not the only Disney Parks that struggle with resellers. Guests at Disneyland Paris were seen hauling out wagons full of merchandise when a Phantom Manor figurine went on sale (wagons are still allowed in the Parks there). Guests visiting Tokyo Disney were photographed actually using fake babies to get their hands on some extra merchandise.
If you are interested in the new Winnie The Pooh Fleece, we recommend that you just wait. The fleece was just released in Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort, so it’s likely that it will be restocked at some point. You can also check shopDisney regularly, as it is possible Disney may release it on the website as well sometime in the near future.
