Man Killed on Exit Ramp to Disney’s Hollywood Studios
An accident on the exit ramp to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Thursday morning left one dead, and the ramp had to be blocked off from further traffic, pending an investigation into the accident.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a couple from North Carolina was driving a Toyota Tundra at World Drive and the Osceola Parkway exit ramp to Victory Way near Disney’s Hollywood Studios when their vehicle struck a bicyclist on the ramp.
The accident took place just after 6:3o a.m. local time.
Following the accident, the bicyclist was airlifted to Osceola Regional Hospital, but he was pronounced deceased as he had succumbed to his injuries. The couple driving the Toyota Tundra was not hurt and remained at the scene of the accident.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a roadblock was placed at the ramp from Osceola Parkway to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
At the time of this publication, the accident remains under investigation by local authorities.
