Disney Dining Serving up the latest Disney Eats, Treats, News, and More!
A fight recently broke out between two Star Wars nerds at a restaurant inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort.
As crazy as this story might sound, it’s absolutely true, and we’ve even got video of the brawl as it played out inside the Hollywood & Vine Restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And it’s not like fights and other altercations haven’t taken place at the Disney World theme park. In January of this year, two families got into a brawl at Toy Story Land just outside the exit to the Toy Story Mania attraction. Then in March, a Guest holding his baby was physically threatened while waiting in line at the park, and his would-be adversary hadn’t been provoked.
And the fighting isn’t isolated to Hollywood Studios. In late June, a female Guest attacked her husband in the parking lot at Disney’s Animal Kingdom after they left the park–and the entire thing was witnessed by the couple’s young children. As she was being arrested by officers, she blamed her behavior on the “stress” of the family’s Disney World vacation.
So when another altercation popped up inside Disney World’s third theme park, it was disappointing but not entirely surprising. The exchange took place between two individuals who wielded weapons throughout the interaction at Disney’s Hollywood & Vine.
The entire exchange was caught on camera by TikTok user Gina Marie, who says she was “just trying to eat her dinner when some Star Wars nerds started fighting.” You can see the “fight” here:

As fans can see from Gina Marie’s video, the two so-called Star Wars nerds are actually Donald Duck and Goofy or, as they are better known in their garb from a galaxy far, far away, Darth Quacker and Goof Skywalker. The two are engaged in a “duel” while hungry diners inside Hollywood Studios’ Hollywood & Vine Restaurant look on. It’s all in good fun, of course. That is, until one of the nerds takes a cheap shot after the “fight” is already over.

It was nice to finally hear about a “fight” in the parks that turned out to be something completely intentional, planned, and full of fun and laughs for Guests of the restaurant!
Guests just never know what they might see at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; after all, everyone there wants to be in pictures!
