A woman was arrested at Disney’s Animal Kingdom after she attacked her husband in an altercation during which the couple was arguing about marital problems related to “the stress of their Disney World vacation.”
According to ArticleModel.com, Asia Curry, 31, and her family were visiting the Walt Disney World Resort from Westchester, Illinois. According to the post, the couple has been married for six years and they are parents to two children.
On June 3, just after 5:00 p.m., Curry and her husband began to argue while they were visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They were in the parking lot when the verbal altercation began, and an Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy was right there to witness the argument.

Curry and her family had spent the day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and according to Curry’s husband, “they started arguing verbally about marital problems related to the stress of the Disney World vacation.”
According to the deputy’s account, as recorded in the arrest report, Curry put the couple’s children in the family vehicle and then continued screaming at her husband. She was also cursing at him. In response, Curry’s husband walked away from her in an attempt to de-escalate the situation, but Curry followed him and spat on him as he walked toward the deputy’s patrol vehicle.
“As he walked up to the patrol car, [Curry] struck him with an open hand in the back of the head. At that point, the parties parted ways and talked to deputies in Orange County,” the report continued.
According to the report, Curry said she beat her husband because he deserved it.
Asia Curry was charged with domestic violence, according to Orange Circuit Court documents. The arrest report says that “both stated that there have never been previous incidents of domestic violence.”

Though Curry’s husband was not injured and did not want to press charges, Curry was arrested by authorities. The Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy’s report also stated that Curry was also banned from the Walt Disney World Resort property. She is scheduled to appear in court on August 17, according to ArticleModel.com.
