Eternals
Disney has had to change up their release game due to ever-changing pandemic protocols. Right now, Disney is guaranteeing theaters an exclusive 45-day theatrical run before they release it to streaming. Marvel’s Eternals came to theaters on November 5, so if Disney released it once the 45-day theatrical run is up, that would put the release in late December.
However, it looks like Disney may be making Marvel fans wait just a bit longer. According to Streamer Guider, Disney has confirmed to them that Eternals will be coming to Disney+ on January 12, 2022.
Here is the official Eternals description from Marvel:
Marvel Studios’ Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.

The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild
When Disney purchased 21st Century Fox in 2019, it also acquired Blue Sky Studios, the studio responsible for the Ice Age franchise. Disney shuttered Blue Sky Studios in 2021, but has decided to continue on with the Ice Age movies and will release its newest film, The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild.
Here is a description of the new movie from Disney:
“The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild” continues the hilarious escapades of everyone’s favorite prehistoric mammals. Desperate for some distance from their older sister Ellie, the thrill-seeking possum brothers Crash and Eddie set out to find a place of their own, but quickly find themselves trapped in a massive cave underground. They are rescued by the one-eyed, adventure-loving, dinosaur-hunting weasel, Buck Wild, and together they must face the unruly dinosaurs who inhabit the Lost World.
