Most would describe actor Harrison Ford‘s approach to life as ‘dry wit.’ He’s sarcastically stoic in many of his most iconic roles, like Han Solo in the Star Wars series and, of course, Indiana Jones. Every Ford fan is dying to see the newest installment in the Indiana Jones film franchise, and finally, Dial of Destiny debuts in theaters tonight and is fully released tomorrow! Disney and Lucasfilm have done a bunch of promotions for Indiana Jones 5, but you can’t help but smile at this latest video featuring Indiana Jones action figures.
Lucasfilm uploaded an absolutely adorable video to YouTube featuring Harrison Ford and Dial of Destiny co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge. With the Indiana Jones soundtrack playing in the background, the video opens on a table holding action figures of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Helena Shaw. The dolls are surrounded by the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny Lego set.
The first question the director asks the co-stars is, “Did they get the likeness okay?” After inspecting his figure on the table, Harrison Ford replies, “I’m actually bigger than that.” Hilarious. Classic Harrison Ford. Phoebe and the crew laugh as Ford gives a shrugging smirk.
Waller-Bridge is impressed at all the different Indy figures from all the different ages. She lists out Lego Indy, Big Indy, and Car Whipping Indy. You’ll have to watch the video to see what she’s referring to. She asks which of those three Ford feels most drawn to, and he replies casually but CLEARLY into it, “The biggest one.” Waller-Bridge does a Fleabag-style reaction to the cameras.
Later, Phoebe can’t get her action figure to stand up, and they wonder if Indy’s hat can come off. Ford nearly removes the doll’s head when he tries. Perhaps the cutest part of the interview is when Ford and Waller-Bridge march the action figures around while they sing Indiana Jones’ iconic theme music.
The video ends with intercut scenes from the new Indiana Jones movie, but you have to watch the hilarity for yourself below!
