Harrison Ford Blushes At Reporter Who Says He’s ‘Still Very Hot’
Absolute icon and Hollywood legend, Harrison Ford, took questions this past week during the Cannes Film Festival in France. He was in town to promote the newest installment in the Indiana Jones franchise, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Harrison Ford is currently 80 years old and best known for his heartthrob roles as the previously mentioned Indiana Jones and Star Wars hero Han Solo. It turns out that Ford’s heartthrob era is still in full swing- at least for one reporter who totally shot her shot when the time for her question came.
She very matter-of-factly states, “I think you’re still very hot.” Ford is clearly flustered by her statement but quickly regains his characteristic brand of incredulousness.
He looks at her with raised eyebrows as she continues, “We were stunned to see you take your shirt off in the second scene, I mean it’s just…and you’ve still got it. How do you keep fit? And can you ride a horse?”
Skipping over her compliments at first, Ford confirms that he CAN ride a horse (if they let him) with a tone that suggests some unclear subtext, maybe in reference to his sex appeal?
The crowd and his co-panelists laugh throughout the interaction as Ford admits he’s forgotten everything she’s said until the horse part. Finally Harrison Ford gives in and admits, “I’ve been blessed with this body. Thanks for noticing.”
The classic curt one-liner thrills the crowd, as director James Mangold and co-star Mads Mikkelsen burst into laughter.
Whether Harrison Ford circa the original Indiana Jones or 80-year-old Harrison Ford is more your type, we all can agree he still has his strikingly candid personality, witty charm, and sarcastic tendency.
